SC, ST and PD candidates must have obtained at least 65% aggregate marks in class XII in order to be considered eligible for IIST B.Tech admission 2017.

There is no entrance test. Admissions are through JEE Advanced only.

IIST has better ratings overall. Placements are almost same in both the colleges.

As a general category you should have 150+ to get admission in IIST. But if you are reserved category then chances can be there.

College infrastructure is very nice they still providing good libraries and food WiFi with internet.Ac classrooms will be there in college.sports facility will be there Indoor and outdoor games with be there in campus

College Infrastructure

The college is a well equipped one in terms of necessary infrastructure of the academic and non-academic domains of its body. The academic body is having a big tech based central library, well equipped laboratories of different fields. The lecture halls are big, smart tech based. The whole campus is served with a super fast WIFI services. Hostels are big and well maintained. There is a central gym, sports court, recreation hall, amphitheater, basket ball court, cricket ground as part of sports.
