IIT Gandhinagar (IIT GN) All Questions

One of the best institutes in this country which provides education forholistic learning. IIT Gandhinagar, hascarved a niche for itself in the academia and industry likewisefrom a fledgling institute since its inception in 2008. As a recent undergraduate in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Gandhinagar, I feel extremely elated at the pace with which we are scaling our trajectory towardsbecoming a World Class Universityto the likes of Nalanda and Taxila; and becoming the Harvard of the East. We [IITGN fraternity] at times may sound too ambitious, taking too much pride in our growth, but this is what we are. We don't restrict ourselves in silos of traditional technological institutes set-up, instead we sail fearlessly into the sea of innovation and institute building.

Its growing much faster with focus on innovation and entrepreneurship. With only 8 years of existence, the institute has made it presence felt and has done commendable and significant work in many diverse fields.

Within 8 years of existence IIT GN is grateful to have several start ups (Excl: Accel & Helion invest under $3M in collaboration tools startup Grid Ants,https://cubeit.io/careers/#/,4Dea Experience beyond 3D Tours 360 Interactive Virtual Tours,Fluttr  Live feed of community buzz,Home  CretifandTINKER TANK) and several of them are in pipeline. The institute as been very keen on social welfare and outreach programs with students working on projects of social concern and coming up with tangible, innovative solutions for problems like pesiticide spraying, community drinking water, medical bridging, construction workers etc.

Well the chance is little bit low ... I you have not get call .. don't be surprised .... However if you get call ... You will not get good branches.... But you can try in nits and other new IITS . Best of luck

Both the colleges are outstanding. IIT Ropar has better industry exposure.
