No one can tell you marks needed to score in JEE Advance to get seat in IIT Guwahati because total marks of JEE Advance are not defined. It changes every year. But i can tell you according to rank.
in 2018, total marks were 360, in 2016 it was 372 and in 2015, 264 marks.

Hi Bhanwar, the cutoff varies every year based on various factors like number of seats available number of test takers difficulty level of exams etc. However going with the past years cutoff, you have very high chances to get through IIT Roorkee and very good chances to get through IIT Guwahati. The cutoffs range around 640 at IIT Guwahati and that around 580 in IIT Roorkee for VLSI course.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national-level post-graduate entrance exam that is jointly conducted by the seven IITs (Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Guwahati, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore for admission to M.Tech programmes offered by government as well as many private institutes.
GATE 2019 was organized by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras in online mode on February 2, 3, 9 and 10, 2019.
COAP is conducted by IITs (IIT Madras in 2019) to facilitate admissions of aspirants in M.Tech programs of IITs. The candidates after applying to the IITs of their choice on the basis of the GATE scores, have to necessrily apply for COAP.
CCMT is conducted for admissions to M.Tech programs of NITs by different NITs (NIT Rourkela in 2019).

Predicting this year's cutoff solely depends upon the cutoff for this year in both JEE Main and JEE Advanced. Cutoffs are going to revolve around somewhat these figures only but can't say the exact value as it varies every year.

in general, to get into IITs, the normal cutoff is around 650-700 GATE score.The marks for the general category is higher as compared to others. In this category there is lot of competition
