Hello,

For admission in B. Tech programme in IIT Madras, the candidates who have applied for the same are required to have cleared their higher secondary examination with a minimum of 75 percent. yes To be eligible for admission, the student should have scored 60% (5% relaxation for SC/ST/PD) marks in aggregate in board examination and JEE(Main) & JEE (Advanced)

  1. Admission is solely through Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Examination (HSEE).
  2. The programme has a total of 52 seats; each stream will have 26 seats.
  3. Allocations of seats to individual streams will be made based on the academic performance of students (CGPA) during the first three semesters, students' preferences, and availability of seats under each discipline.

Since the admissions into PSG are based on ur (10+2)peformance, Yes. You can get into PSG by dropping out of the currently studying Institute and applying freshly for the course.

Admission criteria:
  • For B.Tech program , admission will be based on JEE mains score and joSAA counseling. The candidate has to clear both JEE mains and advanced for the final admission. Also, the candidate must have completed 10+2 from a recognised board.
  • For admissions in M.Tech and M.sc. courses, JAM and GATE score is considered.
  • For M.A courses, admissions will be given on the basis of humanities and social science entrance exam (HSEE) which is conducted by the institute.
  • For Ph.D , the candidates are given admission through entrance exam and counseling done by the institute.

For getting you invitation from IIT Madras candidate must have 96 plus percentile in mat.for admission in IIT Madras you must you need to have 60% marks in graduation for general category for SC ST and OBC category this is 55%

Dear Aspirant,

Department of Management Studies, DOMS, IIT Madras does accept MAT score for admission into their management programme.

The course fee for 2 years is approx 7 lacs.

The accepted MAT score is above around 600+. Placement are also quite good for DOMS, IIT-Madras.

I am  afraid that you can not get into IIT's  unless if you clear the exam that is held through out the nation. The exam for the gateway to the IIT colleges is named as JEE (joint entrance examination). You need get a cutoff score in order get an admission into IITs there is different cutoff marks for different colleges . These exams they become too difficult to crack but with the fair amount of time you could crack them.
