Hello Tarun

Getting a seat for Mtech is totally dependent on the branch or stream you are applying. Without knowing your Branch how can i predict the rank.

But still in General if you are in (Civil, Mech or EE) then you will have to get under 400-500(Rank) to get a IITM seat.

hi,

see gate and ceed exam is not for you as you are in 11th , gate or ceed  exam can be attempted  by candidates who are already graduate or in final year of graduation in relevant discipline.

as you want to take admission in iits, you need to apply for uceed exam which is the undergraduate design entrance of iits, also you need to apply for jee main exam, which is the common entrance test of engineering, basis on jee main score candidates may appear in jee advance exam, which is the gate way entrance exam of admission in iits for btech courses.

hope it would help.

Hello,

Indian Institute of Technology, Madras is among the best governmental engineering institutions in India. Various courses offered by the institute are M. E/M.Tech, B. E/B.Tech, Ph.D, MSc, etc. The institute is well equipped with several facilities such as auditorium, hostel for boys and girls, library, cafeteria, student activity centre, laboratories, etc. For more information regarding infrastructure and brochure you can refer to the link given below :

You should go for VGSOM IIT Kharagpur. Though both are equally good colleges and you'll have good academic programs over there but VGSOM has a great reputation among corporates and has a stronger alumni base at higher levels as compared to IIT Madras. These  colleges condider only the overall CAT percentile which should be minimum 90.Your previous records won't be a huge concern if you perform well in the subsequent selection rounds. With your scores you can also check out colleges like
  • MDI Gurgaon
  • IMI Delhi
  • IMT Ghaziabad
  • XIMB Bhubaneshwar
  • Sailesh j Mehta School of Management
  • Department of Financial Studies, University of Delhi and others.

Good Luck
