IIT Madras provides various dual degree courses and electrical engineering is also one of them with a duration of 5 years(B.Tech. and M.Tech.). The eligibilty criteria is 60% or above aggregate score in class 12th and a valid Jee Mains and Advanced score.

Well it is a very subjective question , both branches are entirely different we cannot compare them, you should go with the branch which interests you more thats the sole criteria to determine, since these courses you wish to pursue are at IIT Madras both have good placement
