Course Overview
GPS Surveying is a collective term for all the different operations involved in the collection of data using GPS. As GPS is becoming increasingly popular as the primary tool for collecting geospatial data, there is a great demand for knowledgeable GPS surveying personnel.

Eligibility Criteria
For the GPS Surveying course, a basic understanding of mathematics and physics (12th standard level), and a working knowledge of computers is required.
Certificate Qualifying Details
To obtain the certificate for the Swayam GPS Surveying online programme, the candidate’s test score should be 30/75 or more, and the average assignment score should be 10/25 or more. Also, their final score needs to be 40/100 or more. If the candidate meets all three conditions, they will receive the certification.

The Syllabus
Evaluation process
Candidates need to write the term-end proctored exam to receive their certification for the GPS Surveying programme. The exam will be conducted at one of the designated exam centres. Of the exam, Swayam will consider 75 percent of marks obtained in the term-end in the final score. Swayam will notify you about the exam sometime later as candidates need to register for it separately.
