[Cutoffs and ranks depend on various factors like:

    1. Number of Candidates.
    2. Performance in exam.
    3. Difficulty of exam.]

I got admission in NIT Sikkim based on my Jam Score for MSC chemistry. How much valuable if i joined for it. I do hear that there is no fixed labs and project equipment &Some times the students need to to go for these kind of things in IIT Kharagpur. I am from kerala. 3320 is my rank,OBC. Pls help

See, the true reality is that the National Institute of Technologies (NITs) which are situated in the North-East of our country (Assam, Sikkim, Mizoram, Meghalaya etc.) they do not have a very impressive infrastructure, and many labs are make-shift labs with no permanent construction.

So, yes it is true that you'll have to go to IIT KGP for some things but that's perfectly fine. Being an NIT, it will always uplift your CV no matter what, so I think that you should definitely go for it!
