I will suggest you,you should go with metallurgy stream in NIT.It has better placement scenario.Also metallurgy stream is not available in all NITs or IIITs,so it's demand is more in market.Nearly all graduates get placed each year.Otherwise,Rest on you and your interest.

With a percentile of 86.6 in JEE mains, your rank would be around 150188 and with this rank you might not be able to get admission in NIT or IIIT but you might get following colleges:

IIIT-H does not take admissions based on the rank,but rather on the score in JEE Mains. A typical safe score for getting CSE here is around 260 or more.

And with this rank you cant get IIIT Hyderabad because people under 1500 rank also struggle to get admission
