IIIT Bhubaneswar Fees 2026

I am studying in electronics and telecommunications department .Most of the teachers are well qualified with PHDs from IITs and IISC. No one is going to push you into studying they will create an environment to study rest is in the student's hands. Curriculum is updated and we have VLSI labs and software included in syllabus. As IIITs are more heavy on coding getting placed in core is tough but achievable as core companies like Intel has come to the college before and core companies involvements in placements are increasing by year.

As a third year B-tech student i have spent two years on campus and want to share my honest experience. Our college boasts a spacious and well maintained campus spread across around 30 acres. The main academic block are clean and fully functional with essential labs and new tech ,modern classrooms equipped with projectors and comfort seating there are also designated seminar halls and conference rooms on the ground floor of academic block. The academic block is mainly divided into 3 blocks, Block A, B and C including a very large and useful library in B block. Hostels are very close to academic block most of the hostel blocks consist of 9 floors each floor consists of 7 rooms with 6 three student rooms and 1 four student room. there is also single room hostels from second year but limited entries depending on CGPA of students. Hostel Mess is inside the hostel in ground and 1st floors. There is also a college canteen, Nescafe outlet (functioning up to 2 am ) and a stationary store inside campus. Whole campus including hostels is equipped with high speed WIFI up to a speed of 350mbps. The campus and hostels are maintained clean and tidy .Food is not the best and non native students find it difficult to maintain but there are other options plenty because mess fee is weekly and optional.

There is college fest Advaita every year with other fests tech, sports, religious celebrations, hackathons you can use vehicles inside campus . Zero ragging issues teachers are also supportive there is 2 tennis courts ,2 basket ball courts, a volleyball court ,a decent playground and badminton courts inside every hostel blocks. Swiggy Zomato Ola Uber Jiomart every online services are available as the college is close to the city 7 kms.

As I said before There are many software coding companies coming to the campus for placements and most of the students are getting placed up to 80% with average 11 in LPA CSE. More companies are coming to the college every year. There is a designated placement cell working for placements of the students attracting companies you can visit college website and search for placement section to know about every placements by year all data are true as this is a government institution.

Total fee for B-tech is around 10.5-11 lakh its not too big or too low. There are category scholarships for students .It could have been a bit lower comparing with NITs and IITs Hostel fees was 9000 per semester for 1st year increasing 2000 every year it value for money as you are getting hi speed internet and everyday laundry service (no need for washing clothes).

Here, academic is good as the curriculum taught here is updated and it is up to the requirements of the recruiters nowadays. The academic also provides us various opportunities to research in our field of interests.

College infrastructure is overall good as it's just 23 acres but it is well maintained. All the required classes and labs are present in the academic block area. We have a large sports ground for football and cricket also.

The placement after covid has decreased like many companies that came before the covid has stopped. Many new companies are still coming but offering less than expected. The big ones only preferred skilled student.

Teachers are well trained. Most of teachers have completed their Phd. They are experienced too. College heavily emphasizes on academics. Teachers explain the concepts very well and have multiple research papers too.

College infrastructure is quite good there is lot of greenery in our college. Building are a bit old. Rooms are okayish i would say(enough for a person) college is small, it extends upto 30 acres. Overall it is not much bad

College starts from 9:30 am and ends at 4:30 there is break in between for lunch(1 hour). After college students generally play sports and get involved in various activities.

Placements are quite good. This year it has been quite good inspite of recession. Nearly every year 90-95% students get placed. And get quite a good package. Placements are not bad generally but enough from what you expect from any college

I think this is the best where i can give a review about college. College is i think very good in terms for money. Fees is not very high too.
