IIIT Bhubaneswar Facilities
The International Institute of Information Technolog, Bhubaneswar provides many facilities to students and staff. The IIIT Bhubaneswar facilities include hostels, a library, an auditorium, classrooms, laboratories and many more. Classrooms have Network and Internet access, Multimedia Projectors and Audio systems and many more.
International Institute of Information Technology Bhubaneswar has built research-oriented laboratories with its own funding. The IIIT Bhubaneswar has developed Virtual Labs and Cloud-based Labs for many IT-oriented subjects. Other IIIT Bhubaneswar facilities also include sports, cafeteria, medical facilities and many more. - Boys Hostel
The college has a combination of single, double and triple bedded rooms for students. The hostels have modern designs with Washing machines and pressing Irons.
- Library
The Central Library is a key academic infrastructure of the Institute. The IIIT Bhubaneswar library has a large collection of titles, journals, e-Books, multimedia content, 24x7 access, and a textbook library.
- Sports
Students have access to a well-designed sports complex on campus. The IIIT Bhubaneswar sports include cricket, football, basketball, tennis, and many more. The sports complex has a variety of courts and indoor game rooms where different sporting events can be held throughout the year.
- I.T Infrastructure
The college has good IT infrastructure facilities with fast Internet access, Servers to support a variety of services, a Large software library of development tools, analytical software, simulation software and many more. The IIIT Bhubaneswar faculty, students and staff members have PCs and notebooks.
- Auditorium
The college has various auditoriums and halls. The IIIT Bhubaneswar auditorium is used for organising events, functions, workshops, seminars, and many more.
- Classrooms
The college has more than 30 classrooms. The IIIT Bhubaneswar has a mix of galleried and flat-floor classrooms. Each and every classroom has a large seating capacity and is well-ventilated and well-lit.
- Laboratories
The college has laboratory facilities so that the students can also have practical knowledge. The IIIT Bhubaneswar laboratories include High-Performance Computing Lab, IOS and OSX Lab with Apple Computers, Data Centre Lab and many more. CLIA labs funded by the Department of IT and Bioinformatics Lab funded by the Department of Science and Technology are funded by Central Government agencies.
- Medical/Hospital
The college has a medical centre that consists of an ambulance facility and pharmacy. The IIIT Bhubaneswar provides emergency treatments for students and faculties.
- Cafeteria
There is a large cafeteria on the IIIT Bhubaneswar campus where students can eat. The students are provided with sanitary meals and refreshments at reasonable prices.
- Wifi
The college has wifi facilities for the students and faculty.
- Girls Hostel
The college also has separate hostels for girls. The well-furnished shared rooms are comfortable. Each hostel has a common area with a TV, indoor games, and other entertainment options. The hostel also features a large mess hall where the students may eat meals. Laundry is also available at the hostel.

College Infrastructure
The college infrastructure is very good. There is are many natural nd artificial artifacts present inside the campus. The buildings are very much well maintained and the grounds are also very well maintained.

College Infrastructure
As a third year B-tech student i have spent two years on campus and want to share my honest experience. Our college boasts a spacious and well maintained campus spread across around 30 acres. The main academic block are clean and fully functional with essential labs and new tech ,modern classrooms equipped with projectors and comfort seating there are also designated seminar halls and conference rooms on the ground floor of academic block. The academic block is mainly divided into 3 blocks, Block A, B and C including a very large and useful library in B block. Hostels are very close to academic block most of the hostel blocks consist of 9 floors each floor consists of 7 rooms with 6 three student rooms and 1 four student room. there is also single room hostels from second year but limited entries depending on CGPA of students. Hostel Mess is inside the hostel in ground and 1st floors. There is also a college canteen, Nescafe outlet (functioning up to 2 am ) and a stationary store inside campus. Whole campus including hostels is equipped with high speed WIFI up to a speed of 350mbps. The campus and hostels are maintained clean and tidy .Food is not the best and non native students find it difficult to maintain but there are other options plenty because mess fee is weekly and optional.
Overall college life here is not too much but good.

College Infrastructure
College infrastructure is overall good as it's just 23 acres but it is well maintained. All the required classes and labs are present in the academic block area. We have a large sports ground for football and cricket also.

It is unlikely you will get into IIIT Bhubaneswar with an OBC rank of 71,500 and a CRL rank of 200,000, even with a home state quota and the "green card gender" designation.
IIIT Bhubaneswar's cutoff for OBC category typically falls between 55,106 and 88,047.

With an OBC rank of around 71,000 and having Odisha as your home state along with a green card, getting admission into IIIT Bhubaneswar might be challenging, especially for popular branches like Computer Science. IIIT Bhubaneswar is quite competitive, and usually requires a better rank for OBC category candidates
