See the rank u have secured is not that much good and u might be getting only lower colleges for pursuing ur higher studies in the field of ur interest under the btech courses. U should be opting for state colleges and private institutions for ur btech career.

DTU is very tough to get with your mentioned rank. Rest you may get lower NITs or IIIT by the end of counselling process. If special round is conducted and you participate in it then you may get a better seat.

with obc category rank 800023 it is very hard to get even the last NIT with last branch.same is the case with IIIT as well.
