Yes JNTU Manthani is good for mechanical engineering.It is a government institution.It has all the adequate infrastructural facilities. Also the college has well equipped laboratories. see jntuh has separate mathematics department which supports engineering divisions as well as offers m.sc course in mathematics. now see the syllabus for engineering mathematics is different, it mainly includes the application like laplace transforms, euler series, matrix, fourier transforrms etc. you must take seriously about engineering mathematics since you would need the application while studying your core engineering subjects.

however dont get depressed and follow the previous years papers and give extra time for maths preparation. You must know your ability and have confidence to clear the exam.
