Osmania and JNTU are one of the best Public universities in Hyderabad. They have variety of courses in various disciplines.

Now coming to your question, I did a little research and found that the JNTU have a BTech Programme in Information Technology and Information technology engineering as one of their degree programme.

While Osmania University don't have a particular course in the IT field, but they do have BE course in Computer Science and Engineering.

So, I think I have cleared your Doubt.

Congratulations for securing a good rank in TS PGECET. Osmania University and JNTU, Hyderabad are top Institutes for engineering. The gate qualified students have higher preference and most of the M.Tech seats are filled through gate. Hence the chances of getting seat in these colleges through pgecet is very low.

It also depends on number of students seeking a seat in the same branch and having a better rank than yours.
But you have a decent rank with the category advantage. According to previous year cutoff, you can get a seat in M.Tech in urban transportation in JNTU.

In terms of ranking jntu Ananthapur is better than jntu pulivendula . Jntu Ananthapur has one of the best teaching faculty . Placements are also good in jntu Ananthapur.

Jntu pulivendula is also a good college. It has a good hostel , infrastructure.

So in terms of Ranking ,you can opt jntu Ananthapur over jntu pulivendula.
