According to my opinion if you like computer science then you should definitely take cs in kiit else you should go for mechanical or chemical in thapar university.

Cs has a better job security than mechanical or chemical however placements totally depends on your own

If you are getting Computer Science in SRM you should go for it. Both the universities are equally good and you'll get sure shot placements also but talking about the course the syllabus of computer science is richer than that of IT as CS encompasses both software and hardware part

First of all Congratulations for securing such a good rank in KIITEE exam. With this rank you can easily get branches like ETC,EEE,EIE,ECSE as well as some derivative branches of CSE like CSSE,CSIT.

In the first round of counselling you may not be able to get a pure CSE

They will refund your payment keeping a minimum amount as counselling charges as per their guidelines.
Go through the documents you were provided during counselling. They mention everything clearly on paper about their refund policies.

If you will not selected through clat you will noy get admission in KIIT because this college conduct their seprate law entrace test for 240 seats ( 60 seats each course ) which 6000 students give.

Congratulations on such a good score in both the examinations. You have got 17488 rank in Comedk and this rank will give you colleges of lower ranking if you want to take up cse. High ranking colleges generally close at around 5000. I would advice you to take

Amity is a private college and its annual fee is very high on the other hand kiit is a non profit private college and its fees is lesser than amity. And kiit is a deemed university while amity is not. So, Kiit is much better than Amity.

According to NIRF Ranking 2019, SOA University is at 24th position while KIIT University is at 31st position.

KIIT should be preferred if you are looking for exposure and other curricular activities with studies.But I have completed a year in ITER and the faculty is very good and supporting.

I was consistently impressed by the expansive and highly organized campus, which feels like a fully equipped technical city. The Electronics and Telecommunication department had outstanding laboratories with current instruments for circuit design and signal processing. I appreciated the excellent air-conditioned classrooms and reliable network connectivity, essential for my final year projects. I believe the infrastructure is exceptional.

I find the campus facilities absolutely stunning and incredibly vast, which I love exploring. The biotechnology department has state-of-the-art laboratory equipment, which is essential for my dual degree research. I appreciate the comfortable hostels and excellent centralized library for my late-night studying. I feel the college maintains a premier physical environment throughout.
