They will refund your payment keeping a minimum amount as counselling charges as per their guidelines.
Go through the documents you were provided during counselling. They mention everything clearly on paper about their refund policies.
And yes, Do not miss any deadline. The management is quite strict about it.

The basic eligibility criteria for kalinga institute of industrial technology for any course except polytechnic diploma , is 10+2 from a recognized board with PCM/B as main subjects and 60% aggregate .And if your aggregate is seen in PCM , it is less than 60% ,so you are not eligible for admission in KIIT .I shall recommend you to take admission in any other college of your preference.

If you will not selected through clat you will noy get admission in KIIT because this college conduct their seprate law entrace test for 240 seats ( 60 seats each course ) which 6000 students give.

Congratulations on such a good score in both the examinations. You have got 17488 rank in Comedk and this rank will give you colleges of lower ranking if you want to take up cse. High ranking colleges generally close at around 5000. I would advice you to take up KIIT because it is better than the lower ranking private colleges via Comedk.

According to NIRF Ranking 2019, SOA University is at 24th position while KIIT University is at 31st position.

KIIT should be preferred if you are looking for exposure and other curricular activities with studies.But I have completed a year in ITER and the faculty is very good and supporting.

In the recent years KIIT has improved its B.Tech course significantly.

The placement is good in CS/IT streams and can even be considered the best stream in KIIT. Microsoft, Intel, Tata Steel and SAP were the highest paying companies. Around 90% of the students get placed from these streams. 

 KIIT the best IT company that comes there is Microsoft. It offers generally a package around 13 to 16 lpa. 

At next level comes the companies like SAP / Intel / Deloitte offfering between 5 to 8 lpa.

And finally the companies which called as mass recruiters comes like TCS , ACCENTURE , ARICENT, HCL sort of generally offering between 3 to 3.5lpa.

Congragulations on your rank.And regarding your question , you will definetly get a good college for CSE,but changing the department of your desire only because you are not getting a good college is not advisable , because if you need to excel in any field , you should have a bit of interest , so opt for CSE even if you find the college comparitively a bit less satisfying than the other one .Not because ECE is a bad stream only because your passion is limited to CSE never plan on doing something like that.

I hope you would take my humble advise.Anyways the choice is yours.

Being a student of KIIT Deemed To Be University,I personally recommend you to join KIIT since it is best known for the placements .Every year various companies hire students offering them 8-30 lakhs of annual package.The university has well constructed and designed labs and facilities for the students.

The university is best in every aspect whether it is academics or other activities.

They have a very well designed campus and in the last few years ,it has improved many hostel rooms, classrooms, campus etc.Hostels are very neat & clean and the College campuses have beautiful sights. Here you can find food from every parts of India.The hostel food is much better than other universities.(though the weather might be annoying at times!).

Every private universities has students who come through donatation but here ,the number is way less than other private engineering colleges. The fee structure of KIIT is also less  as compared to Manipal university. In overall comparison KIIT is a good university which has transparent system of education.

I think comrdk has a better collection of the most reputed colleges in bangalore. So I think for a CSE seat you should definetly opt for the top comedk colleges. So I think that you apply for the comedk counselling and wait for good colleges. Please do comment if you have more doubts.
