HI,
Both the colleges are good and has best ranking among top university in india if you get addmission in one of them college it is good luck for you..
Both the colleges has good infrastructure and provides better placement opportunity
To begin with what are the parameters that make a college good or bad..? The most basic things that i think makes a college good or bad is Teaching quality,Placements,Infrastructure,Oppurtunities, and few other basic things..
Now..Teaching quality depends upon the teacher..How qualified are the teachers? In VIT u will get many qualified teachers with degree of Phd,Msc,Bsc,Btech etc…They are really very qualified and they will teach u good things.
Placements are the most imp thing for a student…If u will check on net u will c the avg placemnt of VIT UNIVERSITY is 4.5 lakh….Now that is the avg package of whole university where many courses like Btech,MCA,MBA,and Medical are taught…And if u c the avg package of each course individually like for example Btech it is around 6 lakh and which is far far better than many NIT and IIT(the new ones).
Now comes the turn for Infra and Oppurtunities..Dude in this section VIT is one of the best in our country..
So overall VIT is a good college and u will really grow their as an individual..
All the Best!!!
Hello Shambhavi,
Yes, there is a 90% probability that you can get CSE department but if not then you can go for IT or CSSE or CSCE. The course is almost the same.
As every year the cut-off changes I do not have not a very clear idea about your surety to get CSE in first chance. But the good thing is you can change your branch later when some students don’t come here after the other counselings in other colleges. So I shall rather say don’t be upset if you miss it.
Good luck!
At your rank you might be able to bag admission in any one of the following engineering branches at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology:

KIIT School of Architecture and Planning's infrastructure is truly impressive. Here's what stands out: - *State-of-the-art facilities*: The college boasts fully centralized air conditioning, modern classrooms, well-equipped labs, and studios with all necessary instruments. - *Amenities*: The campus offers Wi-Fi connectivity, medical facilities, sports, and gym facilities, although some students have reported slow internet speeds. - *Landscaping*: The campus is beautifully landscaped with nice views, creating a pleasant environment for students to study and relax. - *Shuttle service*: A shuttle service is available to facilitate movement between campuses, as KIIT has a total of 22 campuses. Overall, KIIT School of Architecture and Planning's infrastructure provides students with a comfortable and conducive learning environment, making it an excellent choice for architecture students.
The KIIT has good infrastructure with all the modern facilities in the campus. It has modern labs, air conditioning auditorium, it also provides sports facilities for students, and also hostel facilities are available. The college is good with infrastructure.
The college's Infrastructure is great and has a very premium appeal compared to what I have seen so far in other colleges i have visited. Although of the fees here is very high too but the experience makes it worth it. The ambience, the comfort and the good environment is soothing. Although the current scenarios have been a bit left and right around the college due to 2 frequent suicides and spreading of misinformation, I think else wise it is a great place to be in. Basic amenities like wifi, washrooms, food and all are of top quality and there are not many extra restrictions related to any of it either.
