Hello Sir. Kalinga Institute Of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar is a world-class multi-disciplinary deemed to be university located in Odhisa. It had its inception in 1992 by famous educational and social entrepreneur, Dr. Achyuta Samanta and in 1997 the degree courses were started. KIIT offers a variety of UG, PG and Doctoral Courses in multiple disciplines. KIIT Deemed to be University has made an impressive debut in The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2019, regarded as one of the most prestigious university. Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology is approved by AICTE and accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ Grade. KIIT comprises 19 constituent Schools imparting education to over 27000+ students. KIIT University Admission to UG and PG Courses is granted on the basis of score in KIITEE 2019 followed by counseling.
In spite of achieving such a good rank of about 6.8k in KIITEEE , out of near about 1 lakh students who appeared for that exam, the hard reality is that you won't be able to get CSE branch in KIIT University because the CSE branch gets filled during the counseling days, by a maximum rank of 3.5k to 4.0k …. But in KIIT there is a rule for girls in which about 30% of the total seats in each branch is reserved for girls. But last but not the least, there is another rule in KIIT which states that , in case if you have not been able to get your favorite branch in the first year , then you can opt for a branch change from your current branch to CSE if you have a CGPA above 9.0 and to any other branch except CSE , if you have a CGPA above 8.5. You will be able to get IT and ECE with that rank.
The duration of btech is 4 year ( 8 semesters) and the fee for 1 semester is 150000/- Moreover you need to give 75k during registration in which you get a laptop, blazer and registration. Moreover the fees of hostel (non-ac) is 21k and ac is 50k per semester.
Hope it helps.
Hai,
The marks that ask for minimum eligibility is variable on the course. They ask 60%, 45% and 50% for different courses. The website of the exam provides a clear idea on that.

Hi Dewang Singh,
Congrats for your successin the exam.In KIITEE it is little difficult for you to get CSE branch, since the cut off rank is around 5000 to 5500 for this branch. But, there is a very high chance for you to get all other branches like EEE, ECE, ETE, Civil and Mech. You can apply for the counselling and hope for the best.
Wishing you success in all your efforts!!!
Hello Rishabh!
According to previous year cutoffs, you can get Computer Science engineering at a rank of 4717 at KIIT. You have very high chances of getting Computer Science Engineering as the previous year cutoff was around 5000 and your current rank is way better than 5000. Cutoffs vary according to difficulty level of question paper, number of students appearing for the exam, number of seats available etc, but even if the cutoffs vary a bit, you have strong chances that you would get Computer Science Engineering. Hope this answer helps.
All the best!

Here's what stands out: - *State-of-the-art facilities*: The college boasts fully centralized air conditioning, modern classrooms, well-equipped labs, and studios with all necessary instruments. - *Amenities*: The campus offers Wi-Fi connectivity, medical facilities, sports, and gym facilities, although some students have reported slow internet speeds. - *Landscaping*: The campus is beautifully landscaped with nice views, creating a pleasant environment for students to study and relax. - *Shuttle service*: A shuttle service is available to facilitate movement between campuses, as KIIT has a total of 22 campuses. Overall, KIIT School of Architecture and Planning's infrastructure provides students with a comfortable and conducive learning environment, making it an excellent choice for architecture students.
The KIIT has good infrastructure with all the modern facilities in the campus. It has modern labs, air conditioning auditorium, it also provides sports facilities for students, and also hostel facilities are available. The college is good with infrastructure.
The college's Infrastructure is great and has a very premium appeal compared to what I have seen so far in other colleges i have visited. Although of the fees here is very high too but the experience makes it worth it. The ambience, the comfort and the good environment is soothing. Although the current scenarios have been a bit left and right around the college due to 2 frequent suicides and spreading of misinformation, I think else wise it is a great place to be in. Basic amenities like wifi, washrooms, food and all are of top quality and there are not many extra restrictions related to any of it either.
