Hi,

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology(KIIT) is one of the best private college for computer science. But the placements depends a lot on your CGPA and certifications. If you have good CGPA (at least 7) along with some trending technology certifications such as blockchain, AI/ML, data science etc,. will be an aid for you, and you will not have any such problems during placements.

MIT Manipal is one of the best national level private college and if you are getting computer science branch is a full aid to your career. It have almost 100% placements record every year. You will also get placement assistance from the college, which will offer you internships and direct job offer. Even this college sometimes leads with IITs and NITs for its placements.

NIT Sikkim (National institute of Technology) is also one the best college for computer science branch. It is a national level government college , offering the best study environment and college life. You will be chilled here, as it is a government college with low fees criteria .

I would suggest you to go NIT Sikkim only in case if you do not have or want to spend large amount in your B,Tech.

My next suggestion would be MIT Manipal, if you have budget, then no doubt go for it,

I hope it helps.

Thank you!

Dear,

KIIT conducts its own separate entrance exam for admission in different courses. If you want to take admission to the Kalinga college, then you have to do well in the entrance exam conducted by the Kalinga Institute of industrial training. But for those students who are not able to do well in the entrance exam(KIITEE), conducted by the KIIT, due to any reason, there is a separate and golden opportunity to get admission through management quota.
In which they have to pay more fees and other charges but they get admission.

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Training Entrance Examination is the primary entrance examination for admission to different courses of Kalinga college.

Hope this helps!

Hello dear aspirant!

I would say go with Kalinga or KIIT.

The success rate is more in the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. It is comparatively new and better than the Manipal Main Campus. Even though the college is new still it has better accreditation and opportunity than Manipal. The growth rate and placement scenario are different in both the campuses but Kalinga has taken a lead in almost every way be it in Internship opportunities, Job offers, Academics, Environment and The enhancement in skills of an individual.

The fees structure is somewhat high in Manipal than in the Kiit. Also, you might feel problems with the language if you choose Kalinga but this is not a major issue it will help you in growing more.

at last, it depends upon you, so choose wisely.

Packages for individual specialization is not released, KIIT is better and all details shared below.
12.8 Lakhs all inclusive for 4year duration.
Placement is what KIIT is known for in all over India. There is almost cent percent placement record for almost 5-7 years. Last year nearly 2400 students got 3700 job offers. Nearly 200 students got job offers from 4-5 companies and the Royal branch i.e. KIIT school of CSE tops in the list of placement. Almost 94% students are placed till now. Most of the students are placed in service based companies and consultancy services. The highest package was 27 lakhs per annum and the average was 4.2 lakhs per annum. Students were offered all kind of roles including manager, developer etc. Although many companies have visited the campus for internships but nearly 25-30% students get internships and some of them got pre-placement offers also. The highest stipend was Rs. 70,000, the average stipend was Rs. 15,000 and the lowest was Rs. 10000.

Hello aspirant!!

KIIT will be a better option among the two. KIIT is one of the top-ranked private universities of the country. Swastik, LPU is one of the best universities in the country with world class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty from IITs, IIITs, NITs, IBSs, etc.

Hope this was helpful.

Great college experience overall

College Infrastructure

The college's Infrastructure is great and has a very premium appeal compared to what I have seen so far in other colleges i have visited. Although of the fees here is very high too but the experience makes it worth it. The ambience, the comfort and the good environment is soothing. Although the current scenarios have been a bit left and right around the college due to 2 frequent suicides and spreading of misinformation, I think else wise it is a great place to be in. Basic amenities like wifi, washrooms, food and all are of top quality and there are not many extra restrictions related to any of it either.
