Hi Pratyush!! Congratulations on your rank.I would like to inform you that if we go by last year's cutoff it's tough for you to get CSE as the cutoff has been around 5k but still you can give it a try as the cutoff has every chances of changing. F or more information you can visit https://university.careers360.com/articles/kiitee-cutoff
All the Best.Thank you
Hi Abhijeet,
You have a pretty good rank. You might get CSE branch in KIIT.
Hopefully this helps.
Hello Adarsh,
First of all congratulations for securing such a good rank in both the competitive examinations, KIITEE and SRMJEEE.
Both are DEEMED Universities status wise.
Being a student of KIIT Deemed To Be University,I personally recommend you to join KIIT since it is known best for the placements in computer science engineering.Every year various companies hire students offering them 5-24 lakhs of annual package.
The university is best in every aspect whether it is academics or other activities.
They have a very well designed campus and in the last few years ,it has improved many hostel rooms, classrooms, campus etc.Hostels are very neat & clean and the College campuses have beautiful sights. Here you can find food from every parts of India. The hostel food is much better than other universities.(though the weather might be annoying at times but still better than SRM Chennai!)The faculties in KIIT are much better than those in SRM as I have heard from my friends studying in SRM university.Overall this is a college that anyone could ask for.

As far as ranking is concerned the most authentic one considered is the Official MHRD Ranking (National Institutional Ranking Framework, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India): MHRD, National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) In 2016, KIIT university got 32nd rank while SRM University campus didn’t even manage to get into top 100 university list.In 2017, SRM university ranks 35th position while KIIT University got 47th rank and now in 2018,SRM university ranks 41st position whereas KIIT ranks 42nd position.
Every private universities have students who come through donatation but here ,the number is way less than SRM.The fees structure of KIIT is also less as compared to SRM.In overall comparison KIIT is a good university which has transparent system of education but in SRM University condition isn’t the same.
However, whichever university you choose, it is upto the individual to perform and master the skills. After all it's you who ais going to represent your Alma Mater.
Hope this helps!
All the Best!!
Hello SM
I think you can't get any branch in SRM with this rank or if you can then you will have to pay 20 lakh fees for 4 years.
If you are rady to pay this much fee then you can surely join SRM or else you can switch to KIIT. Please opt for CSE in these.
Hii
Yes, you will definitely get a seat in Kiit. Be relax. Kiit has a good placement record & it has a well equipped lab department too. It has good academic record also. Give your best. Best of luck.
Hope this information is helpful for you.

KIIT School of Architecture and Planning's infrastructure is truly impressive. Here's what stands out: - *State-of-the-art facilities*: The college boasts fully centralized air conditioning, modern classrooms, well-equipped labs, and studios with all necessary instruments. - *Amenities*: The campus offers Wi-Fi connectivity, medical facilities, sports, and gym facilities, although some students have reported slow internet speeds. - *Landscaping*: The campus is beautifully landscaped with nice views, creating a pleasant environment for students to study and relax. - *Shuttle service*: A shuttle service is available to facilitate movement between campuses, as KIIT has a total of 22 campuses. Overall, KIIT School of Architecture and Planning's infrastructure provides students with a comfortable and conducive learning environment, making it an excellent choice for architecture students.
The KIIT has good infrastructure with all the modern facilities in the campus. It has modern labs, air conditioning auditorium, it also provides sports facilities for students, and also hostel facilities are available. The college is good with infrastructure.
The college's Infrastructure is great and has a very premium appeal compared to what I have seen so far in other colleges i have visited. Although of the fees here is very high too but the experience makes it worth it. The ambience, the comfort and the good environment is soothing. Although the current scenarios have been a bit left and right around the college due to 2 frequent suicides and spreading of misinformation, I think else wise it is a great place to be in. Basic amenities like wifi, washrooms, food and all are of top quality and there are not many extra restrictions related to any of it either.
