Hi

Both SRM and KIIT are deemed universities.

CSE is most demanding branch and so both the universities provide good placements band faculty in this branch.

Placements are based on your academic performance , CGPA .

If you have options for SRM then choose main campus i.e. ktr. If we compare fee structure of both SRM and KIIT , then fees for SRM is higher than KIIT .

In terms of placements and academics, both universities are good . But it totally depends on your grades.

If you are good at coding and programming then CSE in KIIT gives you number of opportunities. You will get neutral education system, faculties are good , but you have to focus on your concepts and study properly.

Teachers are supportive but they do not provide excellent mentorship everytime because they have many students and so you need to focus, do hardwork and practice, this is very important thing irrespective of University you choose, just know this fact that hardwork and self study is very important to get good placements.

KIIT has been giving number of good campus placements. If your preparation is good and you are deserving then you can get into MNCs like Amazon, Microsoft, cognizant etc.

Faculties are good and helpful, you just need to study well, teachers are good but they won't force you to practice coding and programming.

On the other hand , SRM also provides you 100% placement but you need to study hard . Faculties are experienced and they will provide you notes to study and faculties of main campus are strict as compared to other 2 campuses.

But fee structure is comparatively higher than KIIT . And in KIIT , teachers will clear your doubts but they won't pressurise you or force you to study whereas in SRM , teachers are little strict .

So, for CSE engineering branch all you need to do is make your programming , coding basics very strong. Practice and work hard. Attend lectures regularly . Both the colleges are good but every colleges has its advantages and disadvantages so it's upto you, how you are going to prepare yourself for best results.

Placements are good in both colleges, SRM is strict in comparison of KIIT, and so in you need to put extra efforts sometimes. Just know your strengths and weaknesses and work on them .

All The Best!!

College Infrastructure

The college's Infrastructure is great and has a very premium appeal compared to what I have seen so far in other colleges i have visited. Although of the fees here is very high too but the experience makes it worth it. The ambience, the comfort and the good environment is soothing. Although the current scenarios have been a bit left and right around the college due to 2 frequent suicides and spreading of misinformation, I think else wise it is a great place to be in. Basic amenities like wifi, washrooms, food and all are of top quality and there are not many extra restrictions related to any of it either.
