Dear Yash,

Both are a good private institution in India and reputations are similar.in terms of placement record, SRM is far better than KIIT but KIIIT also a good placement record.

if you get mechanical in SRM then prefer it first otherwise KIIT also a good option.

thanks for connecting in career360 hope in good way

Both of them are good. Manipal is an older colege as compared to KIIT. But still KIIT has been achieving more success at more speed comparing to manipal. The choice is yours as both have similar accrediation . KIIT has even better accredation then NAAC(highest among self financed institutes). Manipal also has mind blowing past records.

It is very difficult to predict the rank through the expected marks from KIITEE exam.

Wait for your ranks to reveal.

For CSE, a rank of approx 5k is required. KIIT has newly opened two more branches under CSE, one is computer science and system engineering;CSSE(of which Im a student) other one is computer science and communication engineering;CSCE.These two branch features computer science subjects till 2nd year approximately and the plus point is these branches dont require such a minimalistic rank as because they are new.

IT mostly requires a rank within 8–10k. For EE/EEE/ETC approx 10–12k rank is required. Upto 15k you will be having branches like Mech/Civil open and also

College Infrastructure

The college's Infrastructure is great and has a very premium appeal compared to what I have seen so far in other colleges i have visited. Although of the fees here is very high too but the experience makes it worth it. The ambience, the comfort and the good environment is soothing. Although the current scenarios have been a bit left and right around the college due to 2 frequent suicides and spreading of misinformation, I think else wise it is a great place to be in. Basic amenities like wifi, washrooms, food and all are of top quality and there are not many extra restrictions related to any of it either.
