If you are confused between lnm LNMIIT Jaipur  and VIT Chennai, then without a shred of doubt I would suggest you to go with LNMIIT Jaipur.

The main difference between CSE and CCE in LNMIT is that in CCE you will be able to study core subjects of both CSE and ECE branch whereas in CSE you will be studying software related things and programming language you won't be able to explore the electrical engineering.So CCE becomes more demanding in LNMIT as it includes communication and computer science subjects.

Now according to your percentile your rank might be 70k-50k

In this rank You are not able to get any  good branch in LNMIIT Jaipur using general Category. But you might get lower branches.

If you are confused between lnm IIT Jaipur and VIT vellore, then without a doubt go with LnMIIT Jaipur.
LnMIIT Jaipur is a government college and is far more better than VIT which is a private college. LnmiiT Jaipur can easily beat vit Vellore in terms of placement.
First of all electronics and communication engineering branch of lnmiit Jaipur is very good and definitely 99% of the students get placed every year with an average package of 12 lakh per annum which is comparable to NITs.
The highest package of the lnmiit Jaipur goes more than 38 lacs per annum and the minimum package offered is around 5 lacs per annum (which is the average package of most of the Other private colleges). Also in LNMIIT Jaipur, you can only get admission on your jee mains rank, that is, on your merit basis and there is no reservation in LNMIIT Jaipur which is a very good thing and you have to to secure and general category rank to get admission in this college. Not like vit where you will get admision on basis of your class 12th marks. Now, coming onto vit then I will say that do not go with it even if you are getting CSE branch, because the average package of the CSE branch in VIT is just around 5 lacs per annum it is not even close to lnmiit Jaipur and many nits.
Also this private college VIT Vellore just gained a name by advertising itself very much. They advertise and show you the beautiful hostel and beautiful campus and students bagging many good packages ( which is definitely not true ) to attract students.
Their main intention is -  they just want your money.
You will ruin your career and life in this private college.
Lnmiit jaipur is much better than vit and it doesn't stand a chance against this college. Also in lnmiit Jaipur you will get a good chance to prepare for the national level entrance examinations like Gate, UPSC, SSC Je and you will get a tag of Government College behind your back which is very needed now a days in finding a good job.
So overall the ECE branch of lnmiit Jaipur is very good, the teachers are very good here and is far more better than CSE branch of VIT. So if you are getting ece in LNMIIT Jaipur then just go for it without looking at any other private colleges like vit.

Yes you can get get addmission in LNMIT jaipur in 94 percentile in computer science and engineering...

The criteria for gettimg addmission in LMNIT for cse branch is to secure marks more than 60 %in all the main subjects i.e. physics,mathematics and chemistry...

And the second one is to qualify the JEE Mains examination..

As you are getting around 42000 rank in JEE mains 2020, then you can get lnmiit Jaipur.
Lnmiit Jaipur is very good college and has no reservation. So, you can get admission in this college only on your general category rank.

Now in 2019, when JEE mains introduced the percentile system, then last year, students securing 85000 rank from general category can easily get mechanical engineering and electronics and communication engineering. And students securing around 55000 rank for general category can easily get computer science engineering branch.

So as your general category rank is 42000, then there is a sure chance that you can easily get Computer Science Engineering this year in lnmIIT Jaipur (as per last year cutoffs).

I believe LNMIIT is better than vit . The placements shown by vit are discrepant and please note there are fixed number of seats for each branch in lnmiit and no management quota. Peer environment and competition both are healthy at LNMIIT.

However if your are seriously interested in CSE and have no monetary issues, you might consider VIT CSE else LNMIIT ECE is the best option.

So among the three institutes THAPAR and VIT are private colleges where as LNMIIT is non - profit institute under the government of Rajasthan. Placements are not that great in VIT as they show but its not bad either but in comparison to LNMIIT and THAPAR  it is not so good as the other two. LNMIIT and THAPAR have almost the same top placements. If you are really into coding LNMIIT is way better and in my opinion it is good for CSE department.

So now a days both VIT and LNMIIT are are good. You can choose any of the two . LNMIIT is a non-profit institute and the seats are fixed so there is no management quota. Among the private colleges VIT is one of the best colleges in India. But then according to placements LNMIIT is way ahead than VIT. Honestly it depends on your hard work and then it does not matter as both are colleges worth taking admission.
