Which college is better?? Thapar institute of technology or LNMIIT, Jaipur. Kindly suggest

Hope you're doing well.

Since you didn't specify the course, i'll just do the general comparison for these two institutions. I think Thapar institute of technology is better than LNM institute of technology. As, the NIRF ranking of these two universities differ greatly. Thapar also has an A+ accreditation against LNM with an A grading. The campus and infrastructure is also better at Thapar.

I got 95.5 percentile in Jeemain and 92.1 percent in ipe could I get seat in daiict ( ict branch) and lnmiit (cse) . I don't belong to either state .which is comparatively better.

Hi there,

First of all lnmiit is much better than daiict. But still you won't be able to get cse at lnmiit as the cut offs are very high last year only those students got cse who had 98.5+ percetile in general category.

But since your percetile is low hence you won't get cse in any good college, that is nit or iiit, but you may get other good branches like ece, it or electrical at lnmiit and some nits.

Hi there,

The admission of lnmiit is through online applications, it will start in sometimes around the josaa counselling, after the results of jee advance and commencement of josaa counselling.

Lnmiit take admission on the basis of jee mains score .

which is better Ece at lnmiit jaipur Or cse at vit Bhopal university, in terms of placements, job opportunities, future demands, better college opportunities, college workshops, interships, teaching/education quality etc.?

see lmnit jaipur and vit bhopal both of the institute is excellent in terms of Infrastructure, placement, college life, students faculty ration. however the best placement record is belongs to cse department in LNMIT jaipur. the placement percentage for electronics stream is comparatively less than cse. now coming to cse in vit bhopal , it has excellent placement record, Highest Domestic Package offered is 41.6 LPA, Average Package is 7.25 LPA. top recruiters are pwc India, tcs, accenture, wipro limited.

Which is better CCE Or ECE at lnmiit jaipur in terms of placements, demands, job opportunities, future aspects, etc.?

According Placements and stats CSE and ECE both are good having placements demand in future and scope .When coming to placements in LNMIIT . Average package offered for B.tech 8 LPA . According to 2019 placements data average package offered around 11 LPA . Some of the companies like Amazon , Microsoft , Samsung , Wipro ,Tata power e.t.c.

which is better lnmiit Or ipu delhi for cse

Hey aspirant,

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IPU) is one of the top universities in India, with a NIRF ranking of 86 for engineering in IPU. The college has a good campus and infrastructure with experienced faculty. Placement is fair, with MNCs hiring students who are offered average package of Rs 8 lakh per annum. Placement record is about 80% for engineering students.

The LNM Institute of Information Technology (LNMIIT) is a deemed university in Jaipur with a big campus and good infrastructure and facilities. Placements are good with companies like Adobe, Samsung, OYO hiring students with average package of Rs 10.5 lakhs, with 90% students getting placed.

If you want a college with good faculty and more reputation, then you should choose IPU, since it is one of the top ranked colleges. If placements are more important to you, then you can go for LNMIIT.

Hi there,

Both the college are good, but lnmiit gets an upper edge as compares to thapar. Lnmiit jaipur has better placement records than thapar engineering college

Lnmiit average 15 lpa
Thapar average 10lpa

. It's faculty and alumni base is also stronger as compared to thapar. Although the campus is quite similar but lnmiit has more career opportunities than thapar. The cut offs are also high for lnmiit.

I got 35412 in jee main 2020. Whether I am eligible to take admission in Lnmiit jaipur in CS branch.

As you have secured 35412 rank in jee mains then congratulations, your can get cse in LNMIIT Jaipur.

Let's first look at lnmiit Jaipur's previous years cutoff trends.

In the year 2018 , the jee mains cutoff marks for lnmiit Jaipur were as follows :-

For 4 yr B.E / B.Tech course the cutoff marks was:-

Communication and Computer Engineering - 96

Computer Science and Engineering - 116

Electronics and Communication Engineering - 74

Mechanical Engineering - 74

For 5 year Btech + Mtech (dual degree) course the cutoff marks were :-

Computer Science and Engineering - 102

Electronics and Communication Engineering - 74

Now in 2019 when the percentile system came in jee mains by nta the cutoff rank for electronics and communication engineering and mechanical engineering branch was about 85000 that means in 2019 one must score around 92 percentile to get these two branches in lnmiit Jaipur, and approximately around 95 percentile to get into computer science and engineering branch in lnmiit jaipur. College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of my college is super amazing. The college central plaza is very aesthetically designed. It have all the resources and facilities that an engineering college should have. You usually don't find such great labs in many colleges as LMN IIT have. Canteen food is also very good, fresh and hygienic. Labs also have all the modern equipments. Classrooms are also very spacious and have good seating capacity. It does have different courts for indoor games and grounds for outdoor games. It also have great separate hostels for both girls and boys.

Great college with supportive faculty and decent placements.

College Infrastructure

This college is not very well known outside Rajasthan because it is not marketed enough. The hostel life here is decent here, considering the hot weather of Jaipur there are centralized vents and air conditioning in the whole campus. Wi-Fi is available all around the campus. The campus is quite big and is scenic with trees and garden all around. The crowd here is good and are some the high rankers in JEE Mains. The coding culture here is good and the faculty is experienced and supportive. The college focuses on extra-curricular and academics equally. We have a proper sports complex here with access to most of the sports. The average placement here goes to about 14LPA which is decent. All in All this a great college for those who could not get in good govt colleges with desired branch.
