Swati Kumari what is your CCE waitlist after 2nd round cutoff ???

Hello,

Doing CSE from Nirma will be great choice when compared with ece from lnmiit.

Cse has better scope and also the placements for CSE in nirma is very good.

The faculty is very good, friendlyand the education level is also very good.

You can get more details of this college in our website.

Best Wishes

Hi Prerak!

Actually none of these is good college,  but if you really want to join from any of these colleges then LNMIIT is better.

LNMIIT Jaipur is a tier 2 college. It has the highest package offered was 40 LPA given by Adobe. The average package is 7 LPA and lowest package is 3.5 LPA. The college doesn't have reservation or management quota seats. Faculties who teach here are mostly from IIT’s and BITS Pilani. Th placement percentage is about 97%.

Now, we will talk about the hostel life :

An LNMIIT hostel room, is fully furnished and the hostels have 24 hrs supply of water. The girls hostel and one of the boys hostel have lifts. All rooms have air ducts(apart from regular fans) which have very effective cooling and are turned on only when required (air ducts function like a centralised AC system).

Coming to sports and other facilities,

LNMIIT has many sports courts/grounds : 2 vollyball, 2 basketball, 1 lawn tennis and 3 badminton courts ; 1 football and 1 cricket ground. The sports complex has 2 T. T tables (and there is also one in each hostel). Here you can also learn Judo, martial art, boxing, kabaddi etc.

The sports complex has a common gym, and a separate one in the girls hostel as well.

Hey Manish,

Congratulations on qualifying JEE-MAINS.

Regarding all. Ive heard Thapar is a good option. I have lesser idea about Lnmit. But another thing is Thapar is bit expensive compared to other. But overall I'll recommend go for Government College Ajmer as it's about mechanical placements are pretty same for core Branches every where.

Hello,

Good luck:)

Dear aspirant,
Since your question tag doesn't have any JEE tag, am assuming you've scored 89.12 % in 12 the class. In order to secure a seat you must qualify an entrance exam like JEE.
Kindly revert back with any exam that you've given and it's results

First and last lnmiit is far better than thapar .As everyone knows there are quota for Punjab state students which you will not find in lnmiit. So lnmiit is having uniformity that is the big issue even many nit are having home state quota with huge ranks in 50 k to 100k.

Location wise(important if you want to attend coaching classes for CAT/GRE/GATE): Thapar>NIT-H>LNMIIT

Campus facilites(4 years of life are spent here, so it is obviously important): Thapar>LNMIIT>NIT-H

Fees wise(high increase in fees of private institutes has raised this concern): NIT-H>LNMIIT>Thapar

Placements: Thapar>LNMIIT~NIT-H (If you get into Sapient or better in the end then LNMIIT better then NIT)

Faculty: LNMIIT> Thapar> NIT-H (thapar has some better then LNMIIT, but overall LNMIIT is better in faculty)

Extracurricular: Thapar> LNMIIT> NIT-H(Thapar is very happening specially for its location, hands down)

I have given a detailed comparision hope you find it helpful

Thanks

Good Luck!

Hey Ashutosh,

Last year they(lnmiit) released cutoff marks. From this year NATA has given percentile to students.

I am providing you last year's cut off(MARKS) :

CCE: 96

CSE: 116

ECE: 74

ME: 74

All the best!

Hello aarnav, it is not like that you are stating. The professor give the geniune results/marks to the students. There exist some eligiblity criteria for sitting in interviews of some companies, if you doesn't meet the eligiblity criteria then you will not be allowed to sit in the interview. But there exist some companies which let the 5-6 cgpa students to sit in their interviews. If you have to achieve good placement then you have to study hard.

Hello Swati,

Great future opportunities and experience of college life.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of my college is super amazing. The college central plaza is very aesthetically designed. It have all the resources and facilities that an engineering college should have. You usually don't find such great labs in many colleges as LMN IIT have. Canteen food is also very good, fresh and hygienic. Labs also have all the modern equipments. Classrooms are also very spacious and have good seating capacity. It does have different courts for indoor games and grounds for outdoor games. It also have great separate hostels for both girls and boys.

Great college with supportive faculty and decent placements.

College Infrastructure

This college is not very well known outside Rajasthan because it is not marketed enough. The hostel life here is decent here, considering the hot weather of Jaipur there are centralized vents and air conditioning in the whole campus. Wi-Fi is available all around the campus. The campus is quite big and is scenic with trees and garden all around. The crowd here is good and are some the high rankers in JEE Mains. The coding culture here is good and the faculty is experienced and supportive. The college focuses on extra-curricular and academics equally. We have a proper sports complex here with access to most of the sports. The average placement here goes to about 14LPA which is decent. All in All this a great college for those who could not get in good govt colleges with desired branch.
