Hi,
In my opinion you should go for Thapar Ece.
Below are the key comparison between Thapar and LNMIIT :-
1. Placements :-
LNMIIT - There's 1 selection in Microsoft, few in Samsung and rest in 3-5 lacs Thapar - Highest was 23 lacs offered to 12 students then 6-7 companies offering more than 9 lacs, Samsung hired 33 students alone and many companies also offered 6-7 lacs jobs.
2. Coding culture / environment :-
In Thapar and LNMIIT there are almost every workshop. Two week and competitive programming competitions(all night long) twice a sem may be, both are good in coding environment.
3. Infrastructure :- Both colleges have good labs, workshops, comparable to iits.
4. Thapar is located in a city where as lnmiit is like 40 mins away from jaipur.
5. There are many societies and events for extra curricular activities in both colleges.
6.If research is what you really wanna do in future, then thapar is a place for you. Yes thapar can make you smart, improve comm skills, might help in getting good job, if u really wanna go into research side you might consider thapar.
7. People from Thapar do go for M.S and MBA in top institutes also.
Now its all depend on you and your interest.
Hope this helps.
All the best.
Hi,
You should go for IIIT. This College is too good in terms of placement and academics. LM institute of information technology and SGSITS are good institutes but still they are private institutes and not comparable with IIIT. Well, I think IIITs have a good reputation than SGSITS & LNMIT as far as their academics are concerned we can treat them same but IIITs are more better in reputation .
As far as my opinion, you can choose IIT-BBSR over SGSITS and LNMIT.
Both of these colleges are really good. The infrastructure, faculty and placements are great for CSE. However, I would suggest you IIIT Bhubeneshwar due to a better location and it is improving in its standards. It would give you better opportunities for internships and placements.
Now, the final choice should be taken by you on weighing all priorities.
Hope this helps.
All the best.
Dear Denil,
Both of the institutes have great scope. Choose your area of interest. I would suggest you to first ask yourself which branch attracts you more like if you like CSE(Computer Science and Engineering) more or ECE(Electronics and Communication Engineering) more. Then, you can decide the college respectively. If you follow your interest, you will definitely succeed, mark my words.
Hope this sorted your query.
Good Luck :)
Hello,
For Current year, question pattern is changed plus due to pandemic process got delayed for a big time so cutoff might be less depending upon the current factors.
There is good chance to get admission but for CSE or ECE, it is doubtful as both are demanding branch. Admission is given on the basis of rank and your rank is unpredictable as second session of JEE mains is still pending.
It would be better to look out for branch cutoff after your get your final rank for general category.
Hope it helps!
Hi Parth,
In my opinion you should choose MAIT (CSE) in compare to LNMIIT (ECE).
MAIT has good placement in CS while LNMIIT have good placement but mainly in CS not in ECE.
MAIT also have very good coding culture. MAIT also have so much opportunities in extra curricular activities for your all round development also.
I suggest choosing the one which fulfils your goals and aspirations. It is a very important decision and you should look for all the pros and cons of every choice that comes to your head.
I can provide you with a brief overview of the MAIT (CS) college :-
If you want to do something and are determined to achieve it, then I would suggest you to choose CS in MAIT and it's all depend on your final choice and interest.
Hope this information helps you.
All the Best.
Hello aspirant
Hope you are doing great there . For getting a seat at LNMIIT , you should have a percentile score of equal to or greater than 96 percentile in your jee mains . This is an approximation from the previous cut off trend and can vary . You can also check colleges at your percentile in the link given below.

Wish you all the very best!
According to latest updates of jee mains cut-offs, This section includes the LNMIIT 2020 cut off of the various engineering courses as 2021 still not issued. Aspirants should analyze the LNMIIT last years’ cutoff to understand the trend. Check the details below(starting and ending ranks) :
Hello Aspirants,
Hope you doing well, According to your rank you have a 50% chances of getting into it as if we see cutoff of the last year for cce branch was around arround 142 marks and closing rank was 50000 so you have a chance to get into cce but I will prefer you if even get ece you can go with Lnmiit as it is one of the best college and it produce most of the GSOCer means there coding culture is superb and they give so many opportunities too so you can also consider for ece I hope you get your preferred branch

Dear aspirant,
As you have mentioned that you have secured 97.8 percentile and tkaing into consideration that you belong to general category candidate so let me tell you that your predicted rank would be somewhat around 23-24k and in this rank mnit jaipur is not possible.
And definitely in terms of placements mnit jaipur is far better than iiit vadodara so I would recommend you to go for mnit jaipur with ece or something.

Hey Aspirant,
It is quiet difficult to tell , whether you will get cse or ece at this rank in LNM institute of information technology, Jaipur because both these branches are most preferred by Aspirants . So according to me there are less chances for you to get CSE , but you might get ECE.
For your further reference I am providing you with a link to predict a college through JEE Mains rank

I hope this helps!!
College infrastructure is kinda good and i would say its perfect as you dont have to travel a lot to get from one point to another, all the important places are kinda near just in about 300 meters at max.
Infrastructure is great. Management is very much focused on improving academic environment. In the academic area, library, everything is like top-notch but for hostels, canteen and other area it's really bad. Hostels might feel good but canteen is very bad.
Lnmiit has one of the best hostels. They have a perfect campus all the facilities are there , mess is very nice it’s one of the top college for engineering in india , buildiare quiet new and cleaned , studying environment is good
