SRM:

In this regard, SRM has a slight advantage over Manipal. ... Till then SRM is offering placement in some of the big companies in India. SRM has a better placement percentage over Manipal. But if we ignore the minute details and highest salary offered then the Placements of both the Universities are kind of same.

It is a good private engineering college, and it is one of the best in India. Placements: Almost 96% of the students got placed in computer science and engineering. The highest salary package offered is 39 LPA by Adobe, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA by Wipro.

Manipal:

It's infrastructure is really nice and faculties are also good and solves the doubts of students. You can go for it if you are interested but it's fee structure is a bit high when compared to other colleges. Placements are also nice there and average package is 5-6 lakhs.

Admission to the following courses offered by MAHE, is through online Manipal Entrance Test (MET) followed by the Department Test (DT). Applicants must first appear for Manipal Entrance Test (MET) and the shortlisted candidates will be eligible to appear for the Department Test (DT).

• Assess your weak points from solving the mock tests or sample papers and try to improve those areas with regular practice and by taking chapterwise or topic wise tests.

• Most importantly, don't forget your strong areas because this will help you to get great scores in your exam. Focus on the weak areas but don't let your stronger areas become your weakness.

• Regular practice of mock test and previous year questions are very much vital. As it is said that revision is the key. You must divide extra time to revise everything they have studied.

• Spend your time wisely because you will be having your boards exam too,so prepare yourself accordingly to ace both the exams.

• Stay away from distractions.

You have mentioned about Manipal University so I m answering by thinking that you are referring to the main branch. The Manipal University is one of the best private university for students to shape their career with immense knowledge.

So yes Manipal is far better than SRM University.

As far as the course is concerned both the subjects are quite similar and will make you eligible for biomedical and tech related career. So it should be you deciding as per your interest.

Only difference is that Bsc Biotech is a three year degree u like Genetic Engineering being a four year.

Labs, and other facilities are good enough. SRM probably has one of the better labs when it comes to the bio-chemical labs as compared to other universities and institutes.

As far as placements are concerned, then good companies do visit SRM for biotech too.

I can't really tell you exactly about the faculties though as firstly am not from the biotech department and secondly the liking towards way of teaching of a particular faculty varies from student to student.

B.Tech in Biotechnology at Manipal University is a multi-disciplinary course and utilizes concepts of Biology and Technology to develop trained professionals in the field of Biotechnology. Manipal University is Good, Best branch in Manipal university is Computer Science and Engineering. The college has very good placements, especially for core branches. The placement rate is above 95% in core branches. The highest package offered was nearly 45LPA, and the average package is nearly 12 LPA. For Campus placements big companies like Amazon, Microsoft and IBM.  While packages offered to other branch is not bad still the highest package generally goes to CSE.

While SRM has better placement percentage than Manipal for Big Compines.

Both VIT and SRM are Good University. Both the University continuously upgrades the Knowledge and Skills of the faculty members using various Faculty Development Programs.

VIT has a slight advantages over SRM. VIT university has been consistently been setting records and breaking them over the past several years. VIT is good for any stream.

Well you are talking about two totally different courses. MBBS in Russia is one of the best career choices but if depends on whether you have interest in it of not. Manipal is also a good college and you can definitely consider admission in biotechnology there. But if you want to become a Doctor then you can go for MBBS in Russia. And if you want to work in MNCs and pharma sector or may be research the you can UG and PG in Biotechnology in India.

Manipal University conducts their own entrance exam (Manipal Entrance Test) for admissions in their B. Tech program. They give admission on the basis of your rank obtained in this exam. They do not consider your JEE (Mains) score.

MET or Manipal Entrance Test is mandatory. You need to have a minimum 50% aggregate marks (PCM or PCB) in your class 12th examination. The last date to fill the application form is 15th March 2021. You can go through this link for more information.
