Manipal Institute of Technology offers degree programmes at the undergraduate(UG) and postgraduate(PG) level. Besides offering programmes in the field of Engineering and Technology, the institute also offers postgraduate degree programmes in Computer Applications (MCA) and Science(MSc).To be eligible for admissions to BTech programmes, aspirants need to be eligible for it's MUOET(Manipal University Online Entrance Test). This includes a candidate’s score in Class 12th.Admissions to BTech programmes at MIT, Manipal is based on the ranks acquired in MUOET. Hello ADI,

At 34000 rank you can get only printing technology and biochemical at main Manipal campus.  The chances of getting other branches are very thin. Everything closes near 20k in Manipal except above mentioned two branches .

For Jaipur campus you are having option of civil, mechatronics. But CSE ,ECE,EEE are not possible there also.

You are having high chances of getting good branch at Sikkim Manipal campus.

You should go for CSE at KIIT over IT at manipal university Jaipur. The CSE branch at KIIT will provide you a better exposure for getting a right amount of knowledge and will provide you a better options of job opportunities. I think you have got the point.

According to previous year admission trends, candidate need to get 400 out of 800 in online entrance test of Manipal Academy of Higher Education(formerly Manipal University) to get engineering seat. For CS branch around 550/800 is fine. For the rest of engineering branches score should be between 400 to 550 out of 800 to get admission. Check the previous year cut off here:-  MET Cutoff 2019

Jee-Mains marks is invaluable to them. Their admission procedure doesn’t include any fund from Jee-Mains, but to get into the university, you will have to qualify their own privately conducting entrance examinations. You have to get just 60% in board and a qualifying rank in their entrance examinations.
