Hello Abhishek, There are fewer Chances for NIT Calicut, NIT Trichy in both manufacturing and thermal because as per last year cutoff in Manufacturing both demand 600+, and for Thermal 700+... 2018 cutoff is expecting the same but the list is not updated yet, but you can other NITs too...

If you have good score in GATE CE 2018 then you can take admission in M.Tech. in Structural Engineering in NIT Calicut. Placement record for M.Tech. Mahesh, NITs & IITs are primarily fine engineering institutions. But over the years the Schools of managment at IITs have picked up very well. And entry in some of these like DOMS,IIT Delhi or DOMS IIT madras is quite difficult.  There ir CAT cut offs is beyond 90 percentile.
