Satyam, in my opinion, you should prefer NIT over any private college.
- LNMIIT is a good college but it is not comparable to any NIT.
- It misses out on the NIT tag and low fees.
- Also in terms of infrastructure Patna is a good one.
But I strongly advice you to take a good look at both these colleges and then decide for yourself.

Hey Aditya, hope you are doing well. According to marks vs percentile trends your category rank would be around 18k. At this rank there are slight chances of getting into NIT Patna as the closing rank is around 16k as cutoffs change every year. Hope it helps!! Good luck!!

With this percentile of 71.9, there are very less chances of you to get any nit or gftis .
But at last special round you can get the lower branches in the lowest ranked nits.
But I will advise you to take admission through state entrance examination into some govt. College

NIT Patna offers five year B.Arch course divided into ten semesters.
- For gender neutral the intake is 16 seats under state quota(Bihar)and for other states it is the same.
- For female candidates the intake is 4 seats under state quota and same for other states.

Depends on a number of factors.
The stream- Not all streams or departments of any college are best. So for NIT Raipur if you are opting for Metallurgy, Mining, B.Arch then they are better than most of the NIT's with healthy placemenet record. While NIT Patna lags behind in these departments.
Placement - For core branches NIT Patna offers better placement than NIT Raipur.
Ranking - NIT Patna is higher in ranking than NIT Raipur.
Verdict - Go for NIT Patna for core branches while for certain branches which I mentioned go for NIT Raipur.
So you could go with ECE at NIT Patna.
Hi there, The ews -general category cutoff is not yet out. But the last year closing ranking for general category for following branches are
Branch closing ranking(home state)
1. Civil 42878
2. CS 29652
3. Electrical 40024
4. ENTc 37518
The cutoff for EWS will be less than general category so there is chance of you to get a good branch in nit patna.

7000 which is decent but not much good enough to secure a seat in NIT Patna.
However, there are some chances that you get admitted in NIT Patna with the Home state quota benefits.
But, ofcurse you wouldn't be able to get top best branches in there.
Also, your chances are low for getting into NIT patna but ofcurse you do have some chances.
So, I would recommend you to participate in the counseling process and look for the college which suits you best according to your marks.

overall good placements ,average faculty and infrastructure
College Infrastructure
Libraries, labs and classrooms are above average, benches are relatively holder and labs have some failed air conditioning, Hostel washrooms are hygienic and stinky, Hostel mess food is below avg these things are for H6 Hostel, Rooms are small too, Canteen food feels common which doesn't taste that good medical facilities, sports and games are excellent, even NIT Patna have their own stadium like big field for sports enthusiasts.
Extremely satisfied because of good faculty and placements.

College Infrastructure
Infrastructure is good.Since it is one of the oldest engineering college therefore it give a essence of old hiatorical buidlings to mew modern buidling. Classrooms and labs are well furnishes with all faclities and equipments required and are also fully air conditioned.
