My JEE main EWS rank is 21134(female) and my home state is Assam.IS there any chance for NIT Silchar ECE branch?

Min marks to get admission in nit Silchar for OBC-NCL

Hey aspirant

It would hard to specify min marks to get admission.It depends on which branch of engineering you want to pursue. For b tech in computer science you would need a category rank of About 4000 if you are from other state.while for btech in civil engineering you need a category rank of about 9000.you would be on safe side if your score is above 130.

Hello student to get admission in computer science branch at National institute of technology silchar student need to secure atleast 5000 rank and above. (sc category) for home state and around 2500rank for other state.

how much should i get in jee mains as an sc candidate with no home state quota to get into nit silchar

As per the previous years cutoff marks , the students who are non home state sc category have to score the following ranks to get seat in different streams are

For computer science engineering the closing rank is 1890
For mechanical engineering the closing rank is 3371
For civil engineering the closing rank is 3795
For electrical engineering the closing rank is 3461
For electronics and communication engineering the closing rank is 2872
For electronics and instrumentation engineering the closing rank is 4588

please give the information of average package of the following nit raipur - IT nit hamirpur-CSE nit silchar - CSE

Hello aspirant I am here for helping you.
Average package of NIT Raipur for IT stream is 6.20 lakh per annum.
Average package of NIT hamirpur for CSE stream is 6.41 lakh per annum.
Average package of NIT silchar for CSE student is 4 lakh per annum.
So overall NIT hamirpur is good for CSE stream and NIT Raipur is good for IT stream.

I want Computer Science in NIT Silchar. I am with State Quota + Gen. EWS so how much marks should I score to get into NIT'S' with Home State

Coming to your question I would like to tell you that the last year closing for the cse branch in the nit Silchar for the home state is around the 23,000 all India rank .

Can i get NIT Silchar - "Computer Science" with Home state Quota + Gen. EWS Certificate? If yes then what would be Opening/Closing Rank ?

If you have the advantage of home-state quota then in order to get Computer Science in NIT silchar you should have a Gen-EWS rank of at least 5200 but in case you wish to be sure that you will get it in the eariler rounds then you should have a gen-ews rank of around 4000. At this rank you should be able to get NIT Silchar in the earlier rounds of counselling. Hope this helps.

how is nit silchar's cse branch?

Dear candidate,

Congratulations on making it to nit silchar cse.

It is a great branch in a great college and will provide you with a brilliant future.

The average CTC for the year 2018-19 in cse department is 7.30lpa while the median CTC is 6.52 lpa.

HOW IS MTECH STRUCTURES IN NIT SILCHAR AS PER PLACEMENTS AND FACULTY

See i won't say that it is nit , so everything will be good. That is not the case the mtech branch in nit silchar is very worse in evry term, wether it is placement or faculty. First of all the batch was quite small. Also the placement scenario is very bad. Not many companies visit, and also mtech students are not allowed to sit n psu's. regarding faculty, faculties are quite good, not that much but they are okk

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is good not excellent as it is a very old college( built in 1960's) so not as good as private colleges but it is ok campus is very big and there is no issue in hostels or classes they are comfortable enough.They provide all the basic facilities to students.Hostels are cleaned almost everyday.Classrooms are occupied with smart boards and well maintained benches.

The overall experience is very memorable and ever lasting.

NIT Silchar maintains a well-maintainned campus with modern infrastructure - spacious classrooms equipped with smart boards, central library, sports facilities and descent hostels. Overall infrastructure is good which helps in excelling in academics and extra-curricular activities.
