candidate can apply for admission in the prescribed form round the year. However, the admission is offered twice in a year, during December-January and July-August sessions only. After completing all requirements, the Board of Governors of NIT Silchar awards the degree on recommendation of the Senate. The Institute admits Ph.D.

As far as NIT is concerned . The admission procedure is as you have to secure at least 75 % ( in best 5 subjects including physics, chemistry, mathematics )in class 12 or be in a top 20 percentile of your board. Then you have to secure a decent rank/marks

College Infrastructure
Nit silchar has a large, green and peaceful campus with decent academic buildings, labs, library hostels and sports facilities. The campus is designed in a manner to suffice. All basic student needs. However, the campus is not Modernly designed , but it provides a great learning space for students

the college infrastructure is well maintained and provides acomfrtable learning environment for students the campus has smart classrom computer labs library seminar halls wifi facilities and comman areas the facilties are sufficient for academic activities and help students in their overall development the activities and help students in their overall development

College Infrastructure
National Institute of Technology Silchar has a large and green campus with good classrooms, a central library, computer facilities, hostels, and sports complexes. I liked the peaceful environment for studying. However, I felt that some hostel facilities and campus maintenance could have been improved.
