In 2019 the cut off for NIT, Trichy for CSE was as follows category wise

• General: 1373
• EWS: 165
• OBC:357
• SC: 138
• ST: 53

Your rank will be around 86901.You can calculate your expected rank by the formula (100-your total percentile)*869010/100

In January session 869010 candidates appeared.You have not mentioned your category but irrespective of your category it is difficult to get seat in NIT, Trichy.You need to score 99 obe above percentile if you belong to general category and if you belong to any reserved category you must score 96 or above percentile to have decent chances of getting seat.Cut may increase or decrease depending on number of candidates appeared, number of seats available, difficulty of exam etc.

Sudar, going by the formula 100-87.27*869010/100 (where 87.27 is your percentile and 869010 is the no.of Candidates who appeared for January session) , your All India Rank would be 110624. Now NIT Trichy has the cut offs as follows:

Architecture: 1043

EEE: 4197

Production Engineering: 11223

Metallurgical: 11220

ME: 4388

ECE: 3010

CSE: 2165

Civil: 10931

Chemical: 7578

Now this is 2019 data and cut offs change every year. So with your AIR, it is tad difficult for a seat in NIT Trichy in any of the branches. You might have to appear for July session. It depends on your rank and percentile score in jee mains.

But if you have decent rank that you have the power to choose among these then you can go for NIT warangal.

Rest of them are also good but nit warangal is better.

But if you have better branch innother colleges then go for better branch.

as per the expected cutoff for this year , for your category it comes about 54.01 as the cutoff for the jee mains. well your percentile is good enough beyond it. in fact you can get admission in good nits but the chance for getting admission in nit trichy is very less... you need to score a bit better the next time and confirm your seat there.

NIT trichy and NIT calicut both are equally good in computer science engineering . But I recommend for NIT trichy as it is in better position than NIT calicut .It is in top 1 among all the NIT's which are there in India.NIT,trichy is also ranked as 10 by NIRF(National Institutional Ranking Framework ).The course fees for computer science engineering is costs nearlt around 8.72 lakhs for four years.The college also has the great  placements.Around 50%-60% (at least) of the computer science  students got placed with a salary package of more than 10 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Oracle, Nutanix, DE Shaw, etc., visit the campus for placements and offer a salary package of more than 20 LPA.
