As per the previous year trends, It is difficult to get into Osmania University, Hyderabad or JNTU, Hyderabad.

For BC-A boys category, the cut off goes around little higher than this. You need to score around 40 marks to get into any of these universities.

Osamania University is a good choice for PG courses as the faculty and the standard of teaching in the institution is good. In total 80 seats are there for MA English. To get admission into the program you must write their entrance exam OUCET and try to come in the first 100 ranks to get into the university itself or else you can also get into affiliated colleges. As you didn't mentioned the type of exam it is not possible to say about the rank but as you said your category. The minimum of 40% percentile is required for an st student to the seat.

For example if you have wrote TS EAMCET then the maximum cutoff would be 67 to 60 according to 2019.

As you know the rank and marks vary every year depending on various factors i.e., no. Of students appeared for exam and also no. Of seats available etc., Hence the minimum is 40 % for st candidate.
