Hi Dhaval, 

The placement record of VGEC shows consistent track record of number of students getting placed above 200. Mass recruiters like TCS, Accenture do come, but core companies do not seem to approach the college.

Some PSUs like ONGC,GAIL do visit PDPU but the placement record is better only for the students of Petroleum Engineering. The placements are expected to be good for the new courses like CSE, ICT too. No batch has passed out yet for these courses.

Considering your rank you there is a fair chance that you can get into some good college with decent branch. So don't missout the registration process. Do participate in the counselling. All the best

Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) is a very good university offering BTech in many branches. With the rank of 4755 in general region you are having chances of getting admission in this college but you have to compromise with the branch as you will get a seat in lower branch only and not get the good branches at all. You can get the following branches-

B.Tech Petroleum Engineering

B.Tech Electrical Engineering

B.Tech Civil Engineering

Only the above listed branch you can get.

Your rank in GUJCET is perfect to get admission in Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University but you are not eligible to get admission in Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology

The branches that you can get in PDPU are

As you mention your merit rank as 1201 but you didn't mention your category........your category also play important role to get admission in pdpu ..

Here  I'm assuming as  from open category ..so  with your score you may not able to get the branches like :-

• CE
• ICT
• PL

With your merit rank you may get these branches:-

• CH
• CI
• EE
• ME
