Dont worry there will be nothing such hapening in Btech if you are colorblind, although there are some things for example some optics experiments in the first year in which you may face peoblems but not a big deal.

The closing rank of Petroleum Engg. for SC candidates last year was: 2639

The closing rank of Chemical Engg. for SC candidates last year was: 2864

You would get Petroleum Engg. in RGIPT Amethi, most probably by round 2 ( if not by round 1). Keep checking the

I will suggest you to go for petroleum in IIPE which is a Institute of national importance. IIPE takes admission through JEE advanced and also it is known for its petroleum branch.

Chemical Engg is a diverse field. You have n number of companies, n number of vacancies and wider scope when it comes to pursue further studies.

If you select Petroleum, your choices and options narrow down. Limited number of companies, Limited scope for further studies in India.

See Arnab you should be happy if you have chosen chemical engineering in Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology . See many psu arrive in this college for placement so many easily get a package of more than 10 lakhs or so. And previous year chemical engineering in this college

College Infrastructure

As a girl student at RGIPT Amethi, I find the campus infrastructure impressive. Spacious classrooms, well-equipped labs, a huge library, clean hostels, good lighting, and safe walkways make daily life comfortable and secure.

Overall I would say that you can prefer this college.

College Infrastructure

It has a very good infrastructure. The college has all the necessary equipment available. It also provides a very good library soace for students to study after class. The laboratories and all the required equipments are present un tge college campus.

Overall experience is very good.

College Infrastructure

There's brilliant architecture and good Wi-Fi quality, with 24/7 hours of unlimited Wi-Fi in hostel rooms and equipped labs, classrooms, a library, and a good collection of books in the library, but there's a lack of ground in our college. There's a mini-football court, but there's no cricket ground in our college.
