Hello Ravi.
To be very much clear let me tell you that I am also a mechanical scholar.
I can tell you that both the branches are very good . You should take your call in this matter.
I can just tell you that ECE is relatively easy in comparison
Hi aspirant
thanks for asking your query as in different nits rules are different many nits have two sections for same branch or same class for one branch therefore it could not be predicted easily .
To clarify such doubts you should contact your seniors.
Hello Ramesh.
Sardar Vallabhbhai national institute of technology is a very reputed college.
It's placement is amazing in recent years. Many MNCs like Capegemini Tata Steel MRF Tata motors HDFC Paytm Amazon are frequently visiting campus. TCS and Wipro Ltd are mass recruiters.
Average package of cs is 5-5.5 lpa.
Hello..
It may sound cliched but first of all you should give preference to your interest.
Now talking about the branches according to me chemical engineering is better. The placements here are also good and almost all the students are placed, in good companies like Cairn, basf etc
Hey there
It is true that this year spot round has been delayed but the class starting date will be increased also as per the spot round dates. You should not get worried about the classes it will be managed by the boards.

Hello aspirant. Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology is not that good in placement. You may expect some core companies and coaching institutes to hire you through college placements, but still they don't expect you to be a good scholar as it is not considered top college like IITs and
I am sorry but there seems to be some confusion in your query. SVNIT does not offer Btech in information technology but rather in computer science and engineering along with other branches. If you belong to the home state quota then you would get CSE otherwise chances are low.
The Btech programs for SVNIT Surat are done through JOSAA counselling which is presently taking place. So a candidate had to register themselves to be able to participate. The counselling for the remaining seats after the seven rounds of JOSAA will be conducted by CSAB special rounds which will happen
If we talk about infrastructure some of departments are under-construction from 2-3 years I guess. And still we don't know how long it will take. Rest the buildings that are already made are fabulous
The college has a nice green campus with plenty of space the classrooms are okay but some of equipment is owned the library is great and has a lot of books and very good environment wifi is very stronger and very good the infrastructure is really valid.
The infrastructure is quite good. The department has three different buildings, and all the labs required for the course, such as fluid dynamic labs, hydraulic lab , som lab , structure lab, EM lab and transporation lab.
