Hello aspirant. Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology is not that good in placement. You may expect some core companies and coaching institutes to hire you through college placements, but still they don't expect you to be a good scholar as it is not considered top college like IITs and other top NITs.
Regards
I am sorry but there seems to be some confusion in your query. SVNIT does not offer Btech in information technology but rather in computer science and engineering along with other branches. If you belong to the home state quota then you would get CSE otherwise chances are low.
I am so sorry to inform you that at this rank it is nearly impossible to get admission in any decent college which takes admission through JOSAA counselling based on JEE MAIN score. I hope that you are trying elsewhere or thinking about taking a drop since that would be beneficial for you.
The Btech programs for SVNIT Surat are done through JOSAA counselling which is presently taking place. So a candidate had to register themselves to be able to participate. The counselling for the remaining seats after the seven rounds of JOSAA will be conducted by CSAB special rounds which will happen in the month of august.
Hello karan,
Surely, you can. If you are not satisfied with your branch in first round then you can slide it down and wait for the second round.
All the best.. Hope you get cse in second round.
Hello rashmi,
If you belong to reserved category (ST/SC) then you can easily get in svnit.
But if you belong to general category then you have decent chance to get admission in svnit.
Then too... don't worry, just go for it.
Hello!
VIT is really good in case of infrastructure. Placement wise is also improving. If you get CSE or ECE in all three then i would suggest you to take up an NIT. If you are very branch specific and you are getting your favourite branch in VIT but not in other two, then go for VIT.
The infrastructure is quite good. The department has three different buildings, and all the labs required for the course, such as fluid dynamic labs, hydraulic lab , som lab , structure lab, EM lab and transporation lab.
Our college is quite old but then also infrastructure is good even now some construction work is going on of CRC and few department, hostel are also average where u get various facilities, there is dispensary also
The college infrastructure is good. There are many facilities available like sports centre, food courts, stationary shops, seminar halls and modern classrooms, auditorium, grounds for mega events or functions. The canteen food is good and economical. There are no issues related to infrastructure.
