SVNIT is one of the famous NITs of INDIA.To get chemical engineering in SVNIT ,your category rank should be somewhere near 6500,to be on safe side.To score such a rank is not at all tough.Slight dedication is what you'll need.For nirma ,a rank of 23000 would do so.If you could improve your score,you can also aim for some other NITs too.Hope this was helpful.

If you wish to get admission in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs then you should have minimum 75% in class 12th as a general category & 65% as a reserved category. to appear in JEE Main Entrance Exam. To appear for GUJCET entrance exam you should have minimum 45% in class 12th as a general category & 40% as a reserved category. Firstly, To get admission in Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology Surat, you need to apply for JEE Mains. Its a national entrance exam & to write this exam you just need to qualify 12th.

Secondly, at the point of admission in this college you need to have secured minimum 75% marks in class XII or equivalent exam or be in the top 20 percentile in their class XII exam conducted by the respective board

For SC/ ST candidates, the eligibility criteria is to secure 65% marks in class XII or equivalent exam.

You are talking about which course from NIT trichy either m tech , msc , mac , mA or jee main ... if you are talking about jee then you must have a agrregate of 75% in 12 class or if any other course talking about then you ask :)

you wont be able to get this college even if ypu pass the cutoff since minimum eligibilty for nits is 6+CGPA irrerspective of category.

i would suggest you NIT surat if you actually want to study, NIT bhopal doesn't have a strict (about rules) administration department,also as it is one of the oldest colleges in the country so most of the equipments you will find will be of stone age.

both the colleges provides a good placement and have excellent staff .

so choice is up to you.
