No, with a VITEEE rank of 9,608, you cannot get CSE (Integrated M.Tech) at VIT Vellore in any category.
CSE (Integrated) at Vellore usually closes below 4,000 rank. You can try for other campuses (Chennai, Bhopal, AP) or other branches at Vellore.
Hello,
To get a seat in VIT University (Andhra Pradesh) through AP ECET, you usually need a rank below 5,000 in the ECET exam. But this can change every year based on the number of students, difficulty level of the exam, and available seats.
Also, VIT mostly takes admissions through VITEEE or other direct admission routes. It may not give seats directly through AP ECET counselling. You might need to apply separately on the official VIT website for lateral entry (for diploma holders).
Hope it helps !
Hello Aspirant,
With 6500 rank in VIT Integrated M. Tech, you have good chances to get VIT-AP or VIT Bhopal as they generally have a large intake capacity and comparatively lower cutoff. Getting VIT Chennai will be difficult as typically it has a higher closing rank, and it also has a lot of competition. Nevertheless, you should really wait for the official counselling rounds, as the cutoffs change every year by a small margin depending on how many students apply, seat availability, etc.
Hello Aspirant,
Having secured an All India Rank of 189 in the Integrated M. Tech course in VIT, you stand an excellent chance at getting a good branch. VIT usually offers branches like CSE with specialization in AI/ML, Data Science, Cybersecurity and Software Engineering for top ranking students. Given that your state rank is within 200, you should find yourself eligible for the most sought after branches in the first round itself. You're guaranteed to at least meet the cut-off for the most sought after branches. That said, the final allotment will depend on the number of applicants, their preferences, and number of seats available, so make sure to be smart about what you list in terms of your top preferences.
Hello Ramesh,
VIT Bhopal and Shiv Nadar University (SNU) have M.Tech programs with unique positives, so your selection will be driven by your priorities.
VIT Bhopal:
Shiv Nadar University (SNU):
Choose VIT Bhopal if you want a heavy focus on industry exposure, large peer network, and employment prospects. Choose SNU if you are primarily interested in research or planning to pursue a Ph.D./academia route and want personalized training or mentoring.
Hello there,
Yes, with an EAMCET rank of 1000 and belonging to the BC category, you have a good chance of getting admission into VIT-AP University for B.Tech courses.
Key points:
Your rank is considered strong and may help you get branches like ECE, EEE, Mechanical, or Civil.
Highly in-demand branches like Computer Science and Engineering may have tougher competition.
Admission chances depend on seat availability, the number of applicants, and the specific branch you choose.
You must attend the counselling process and fill in VIT-AP University as one of your preferred options.
Final admission depends on that year’s cutoffs and counselling rounds.
I would recommend you to use AP EAMCET College Predictor Tool by Careers360 to get the list of possible colleges you can get with your rank.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.
To get admission in the ECE branch at VIT-AP through AP EAMCET, your rank should be around 2,400 to 3,400 in the first counseling phase. This rank is based on previous years' cutoff for open category students. Usually, scoring about 80 to 100 marks out of 160 in the exam can help you get this rank. Remember, cutoffs change every year, so always check the official VIT-AP or AP EAMCET websites for the latest info.
hi,
Based on your VITEEE rank being above 1 lakh, it might be quite difficult to get a seat in the Integrated M.Tech courses at VIT Vellore, as the cutoffs for Vellore campus tend to be much lower—usually within the top few thousand ranks. However, your IPE score of 962 is quite strong, and that definitely adds value to your academic profile.
If you're truly interested in VIT, you can consider applying to other campuses like VIT Chennai, VIT-AP (Amaravati), or VIT Bhopal. These campuses often have slightly more flexible cutoffs, and you might have a better chance of getting a seat there—especially in newer or less competitive branches. You should also participate in all counseling rounds, because sometimes seats open up due to withdrawals.
hope this help you
Hello Aspirant,
Pursuing a CSE branch (like AI, Data Science, Cybersecurity etc.) at VIT Chennai with a 74,000 VITEEE rank is unlikely in the first few rounds as these branches have high demand and close in the earlier round around the top 30,000 - 50,000 ranks typically. Your chances could improve in later rounds or through a Category Upgrade, depending on the availability of seats and cut-off trends for the current year. Keep an eye on the official updates for the counselling and also on the other campuses or check for other branches like IT or core CSE which you might be open to. VITEEE cutoff 2025
The infrastructure of our college is excellent with a big campus for the students to explore. Hostel facilities and canteen is really good but the food should be more hygienically made with care. It also has well designed gyms, sports area, libraries and laboratories.
Academic buildings are good, classrooms are large to accomodate lots of students, labs are ac and well equipped. Hostel facilities are good ranging from 1-6 bed ac/non-ac rooms with wifi service. Mess food is decent with good variety. Laundry and transport services are available on campus. Sports facilities, gym, library, etc are available.
VIT Vellore’s M.Tech Biotech has awesome infrastructure. Labs got latest equipment like PCR, bioreactors, makes practicals smooth. Library huge, tons of books, fast wifi. AC classrooms with smart boards. Hostels clean, but summer water shortage. Mess food okay, sports ground big.
