Students and parents who are willing to seek admission

    College Infrastructure

Overall insfrastructure is average. academic building are well maintained but hostels are very congested. Once u get any any room its very hard to change(they will act like SBI employees to u when u fill application for room changing).

    Academics

academically its good and faculty is helpfull and kind towards students But some faculty are Very rude.but i think every place have some good and bad people. overall its decent. proper labs are available with well educated assistants for helping in labs.

    Placements

Lots of Crowd , so yeah placament is easy but for getting good placement ,u should be in the top students. If u are average student with cgpa less than 7 than its very hard to get any good placement from college even u have skills. bcz its difficult to select students from lots of crowd so companies just set eligibility criteria based on cgpa.

    Value for Money

it depends on the course and fee category . for me i think its worth it. But for anyother it depends on the category and course plus whether u are hosteller or day scholar.

    Campus Life

Campus life is fucked up genuinely. They have strict rules for everyting and for every other activity they need parents confirmation. LOL...

    VIT:Top-notch infrastructure, placements, vibrant campus.

    College Infrastructure

VIT Vellore’s vast 372-acre campus features modern classrooms, advanced labs, a huge library, high-speed Wi-Fi, and extensive hostels. Sports facilities and sustainability initiatives enhance student life, making it a well-equipped, vibrant environment for learning and growth.

    Academics

VIT Vellore provides a flexible, industry-relevant curriculum with experienced faculty. Regular assessments ensure continuous learning. While academics are rigorous and well-structured, large class sizes may reduce individual attention, preparing students effectively for professional challenges.

    Placements

In 2025, VIT Vellore recorded 12,579 placement offers from 632 companies. The highest package was ₹1 crore, with 2,807 Super Dream (₹10+ LPA) and 2,862 Dream (₹6+ LPA) offers. Top recruiters included Microsoft, Airbnb, and Uber, showcasing the university's strong industry links and placement support system.

    Value for Money

VIT Vellore offers excellent value for money with quality education, modern infrastructure, and strong placement opportunities. Though fees are moderate, the high return on investment through internships, industry exposure, and campus facilities makes it a worthwhile choice for engineering and technology students.

    Campus Life

VIT Vellore’s campus life is vibrant and diverse, with over 100 clubs, cultural fests like Riviera, and technical events such as GraVITas. Students enjoy sports facilities, recreational spaces, and social activities, fostering a balanced environment that encourages personal growth, creativity, and strong community bonding.

It was a good experience, hope it help others

    College Infrastructure

Good infrastructure, have all necessary infra and well equipped labs but classrooms are not equipped with AC , a few building needs renovation and AC classrooms are necessary in high temperatures of Vellore. Wifi timings for hostel sucks, they switch it off at 12.30 am

    Academics

Great faculty, some of them actually takes interest in teaching, but some of them are biased towards south indian students, giving them more marks. A great variety of teachers available that students can choose on their own. I feel like few subjects like chemistry physics and so many mathmatics related subjects are bit useless.

    Placements

According to its official website, average package is around 9 Lpa which is quite nice but then student intake is also so much, around 4k freshers every year makes things competitive but if you focus on skills, you can make it easily.

    Value for Money

If you get top branches in first 2 or 3 category then overall vit is a really great option for you, you can choose it blindly as it has a good name outside.

    Campus Life

Lush green campus, that's where NIRF ranking comes from, overall gives you a really great exposure. Strict rules for girls, only 2 hours outing allowed and in time is 7 pm. You might feel language barrier as most of the guards and wardens only know tamil

    Others

If you're someone who lives freedom and don't want to follow rules like school life, this is not for you. Your parents must be really happy if you come here due to safety purpose.

Until now, my college experience was great

    College Infrastructure

The college has a top class infrastructure with well-maintained labs consisting of latest software and technologies. The laboratories are air-conditioned and consists of projectors. The college also has a library consisting of 6 floors including the ground floor and has 250000+ books which includes national, international and journals. The library provides with many facilities such as WiFi-facilities, E-books, video conferencing room, etc. Besides academics, the college focus on physical health of the students and provides sports and gym facilities. The hostel offers well-maintained and secure WiFi operating at 10Mbps

    Academics

I am currently pursuing Computer Science and Engineering since I was a tech-enthusiast since childhood. In VIT, we get to select faculties and take the number of credits we wish to take in a process called FFCS. The quality of teaching depends on the faculty we select. However, the curriculum is updated every year based on the recent developments and updates in the industry making the student job-ready

    Placements

The college is well-known for it's placements. VIT is the only private university offering an average package of 10LPA. Even though the market been down, VIT has placed nearly 10000+ students across all the 4 campuses. The highest package offered this year was 1Cr. The placements are based on your CGPA achieved across your course duration. The eligibility of the placement is that there should be no standing arrears at the time of placements.

    Value for Money

VIT is definitely worth for money

    Campus Life

VIT is believed to be one of the best colleges for having good campus life. There are many events that happen everyday like technical events, singing, dancing etc. These events are open to all students irrespective of their branches. VIT has 50+ clubs and chapters where the student can be a part of depending upon their interest. VIT also conducts 2 major fests: 1. Gravitas(Technical fest) - Students get to participate in workshops, hackathons, competitive coding, etc. It lasts for 3 days 2. Super and fresh environment . sophisticated equipments . Wifi but slow Have smart boards in each class sofa based benches adding more comfort. Cleaning after every lunch break and restrooms are more hygiene.

    Academics

Studying btech ece core I'm not interested in csc as I don't like comp but since Eve I can prefer both core and it so beneficial becuz i may get intrest in future so .Staffs are friendly. Yes it includes all the recent developments.

    Placements

I have no idea on placements yet . But heard there is a large opportunity for it . . ..

    Value for Money

Of course it's worth the penny. The fee varies from 2 lakh to 5 lakh approx based on your viteee rank.

It was a good experience for me

    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of college is good and dustfree . Though more classrooms are being constructed and we have all the necessary infrastructure facilities . In classrooms we have benches, boards, fans, dustbins and other required equipments . We even have gyms in our hostel areas .

    Academics

I'm studying cse(iot) because since beginning I wanted to be a software engineer . The teaching quality depends on teacher and the faculty but for my personal experience the teachers are nice and not biased .Yes the curriculum is updated and includes all developments in the field .

    Placements

The quality of placements in my college is quite good . Highest package is around - 88lpa and percentage of students that were placed were 7,142 students were placed out of the roughly 9,000 students who participated, indicating a placement rate of about **79–80%**(2024 data). I don't know much about placement process because I just finished my 1st year .

    Value for Money

My course cost around 5-6 lakhs per year. I think it's a bit costly but since it is a private college so we can expect this much . But I think that the amount submission should be done in installments not in one time payment only .

    Campus Life

My campus is good and we have different clubs and chapters in which we can join according to our interest . We've all types of facilities inside the college . But it is strict regarding it's rules especially for girls . For girls the outing time is just 2 hrs on non instructions day and 4 hr for holiday but for boys they don't have such hours limited allowance just they need to come before campus intime . I think that should be equal ,either girls should be allowed for equal hourse or boys time should also be limited .
