The college infrastructure is outstanding. Every part of it such as classrooms, laboratories and equipment is extravagant. There are many resource centers and innovation hubs for all the students. The sports center is also huge with various sports. The WiFi is continuously available in the campus.
Academics is the best part of the college. The professors are highly educated and their teaching is also really good. The curriculum is perfect as it includes the latest trends and developments in our field of mechanical engineering.
The placements is Outstanding! There is 90% placements in the college. The top most companies like Google, Microsoft, Wipro and many companies recruit students with salary about 15 lpa. The placement process is also pretty easy.
I am paying 1.5 lakhs per year for my course. I feel that it is worth it to pay that amount. It is because the college has high standards in providing the education and many facilities.
The campus life is really good and cool! Students can engage in so many extra curricular activities. The place is safe and it can handle emergencies.
All in all, it is the best college.
Infrastructure is good, wifi facility is been provided to the hostellers ,well maintained campus with clean spaces and good food hygiene. Library is well maintained.sports centres are almost open everytime.
I got into vit because of my rank , quality of teaching is good. Curriculum whenever updates we are been informed.the teacher in vit are quite supportive. They try to make the version of you .it all depends on you.
Avg package of placement changes every year .it depends on how student perfoms in that very particular year .till now I observe 7.5 lpa.Vit university always supports you to be the best amongs others .
If we compare other private university than vit fees is quite lower ,but your actual fee depends on which category you get your branch . So prepare well for the competitive exams because then it will decide which college you will get.
Campus Life really depends on how you see the college . Depends on your friend cirlcle.teachers are always supportive you don't need to fear them . Location is also nearer from the airport . Good in handling emergencies.
Nothing else
The college is building its infrastructure in all force and has recently added a common gymnasium and a pool . the hostels are good and best place to rest after a log day work. More and more buildings are being made for the betterment of the students
THE college is known for Its academics and is well up to the mark of studieS with really good proctors who are available any time for their proctees and suggest them for their better at every point in the college
Most of the students get placed, but mainly in software and consultancy. You have to work very hard to get placements in core companies because people are more, and seats are less. Most of the people get placed in one or another company, but you have to be academically good.
Of course teachers are well experienced and we are satisfied. Can't say that students are industry-ready but, a well specific idea of business and their ability to make on can be learned and experienced. The curriculum is relevant and helps students to have precise knowledge about what they ought to learn.
Not that great a campus life with too many restrictions , but it does n t matter as long as you have good friends to enjoy with you and. give company in good times like vibrance and technovit . So all in all you would have fun but in limit
Really good college .
The facilities and infrastructure of the collage is really good . Labs are pretty decent and are air conditioned ,and even the classrooms are equipped with all the modern facilities like projectors and smartboards. Quality of food served in mess and canteen is good. The library in VIT Vellore is one of the best and it is equipped with all the modern facilities.
The quality of teaching is good . Some teachers have very good knowledge of subject and are ready to make your concept clear. Academics are really good and give equal importance to both theory as well as lab .
Placements are good. A student with decent academic score and a right skill set has a very good chance to get placed in company with good package . the average package of cse branch is more in compare to other branches.
The fee structure depend on the rank you acquire in VIT entrance exam.
The campus life is really nice . There are lot of clubs and chapter where student can take part depending on his interest . There are various events , competitions ,and activities organised by various different club and chapters, that provide an opportunity for student to show his hard work or skills.
One should maintain his attendance above 75% , otherwise you will be not allowed to give exams .and if you are 9 pointer then are no restrictions regarding attendance.
It has almost everything a student can ask for to develop one's practical skills and the hostels are maintained well but there are some blocks as exception. The food is offered in various types in different types of canteens.
I am studying ECE because I'm interested in electronics. The academic system is very flexible and gives student freedom. so it is based on the student whether he is job worthy or not. It gives you a unique opportunity to develop your own timetable.
I am currently in 2nd year but this is based on the reviews from my seniors. Almost everyone gets placed, but I cannot say that everyone gets a good package. It'll definitely be based on one's skills.
I can not say it's cheap, it price is a bit high.
It has a numerous clubs that a student can join based on his interest which help them improve In various ways. It's location very safe and can handle emergencies.
The classes have AC. The lift is crowded as hell you can barely breathe. WiFi is a big issue. Though the labs, library is good. Food in hostel depends sometimes good sometimes you can't bare looking at it
It's nice.Though the teachers don't teach well and it's very difficult for students to understand their accent. So basically you ll get an exposure but you have to study everything yourself. They also have ffcs and online forum for notes so that helps.
Heard from seniors yes the placements are good . Many companies come for the placements . Details are on the internet . But I guess placements are nice and that is the sole reason I am in this college.
The college is damn expensive. For every little thing they have fine. For every little thing you have to pay. The fees for gym and swimming pool is also very expensive. The mess and the rooms are also expensive. Every thing is expensive.
Teachers and support staff are not at all supportive. It's kind of tough for the newbies till the time they make their own circle of friends. Communication with the support staff is especially difficult if you don't know tamil.
No
yES , THE COLLEGE HAS ALL THE BASIC NECCESITIES OF INFRASTRUCTURE LIKE ACADEMIC BUILDING WHICH CONSISTS OF 3-4 BUILDINGS WITH CULMINATION OF LABORATORIES WHICH ALSO CONSISTS OF SEVERAL RESEARCH CENTRES. THEY ALSO HAVE A BUSINSS INCUBATOR CENTRE FOR STARTUPS WHICH LOOKS AFTER THEM AND FUNDS THEM. tHEY ALSO HAVE VARIOUS SPORTS FACILITIES LIKE INDOOR TABLE TENNIS STADIUM AONG WITH A LARGE INNER HALL FOR BADMINTON. OUTER GOUND SPORTS LIKE CRICKET , FOOTBALL , HOCKEY ALSO HAVE THEIR OWN FIELD.
i AM STUDYING COMPUTER SCIENCE WITH SPCIALIZTION BECAUSE i lIKED THE SUBJECT AND THE COURSE WAS AVAILABLE WITH VIT AT THAT TIME. cURRICULUM IS ALSO UPDATED SMOOTHLY AND THE ACTIVITIES ARE CONDUCTED BY THE TEACHERS.
pLACEMENTS ARE FINE WITH AROUND 900 SUPER DREAM OFFERS GIVEN IN THE YEAR 2019-2020 WHICH WAS CONSIDERABLE GOOD ALONG WITH MANY OFFERS IN THE DREAM RANGE. aLTHOUGH THE AVERAGE WAS AROUND 6-7 LAKHS , BUT IT IS CONSIDERABLE GOOD FOR COMPUTER SCIENCE BRANCHES.
yES IT'S WORTH THE MONEY FOR VIT AS , THE TEACHERS ARE GOOD AND WE GET FLEXIBLE SCHEDULES FOR STUDYING , WE CAN GO TO TEACHERS AND THEIR RRESEARCH ASSISTANTS FOR VARIOUS DOUBTS OR FOR SOME RESEARCH PURPOSE , THEY WOULD ALWAYS HELP US.
cAMPUS IS FILLED WITH BEAUTIFUL TREES ALL AROUND THE CAMPUS WITH FOWERS COMPLEMENTING THEM , THEY HAVE WOOD LAND STRUCTURE. THEY ALSO HAVE RESTAURANTS CONNECTIVITY , BUS CONNECTIVITY IS ALSO GOODAND FEMALE-BOY RATIO IS FINE i GUESS.
oVERALL , THE CAMPUS LIFE IS GOOD , BUT WE SHOULD NOT GET ASTRAYED WITH VARIOUS DISTRACTION AND WORK WTH OUR FULLEST , AS WE ARE ABLE TO COMPETE WITH VARIOUS iiT'S AND NIT'S FOR VARIOUS JOB POSITIONS
College infrastructure is nice with some beautiful trees and a lake. There is a dominos inside the campus and several awesome eating spots. You can enjoy eating at several places and can order pizza online at your hostels.
Academics is really good with theory classes and labs both given equal importance. Project based assignments are given so that you should learn. There are several hackathons conducted by all the clubs. Though the schedule of classes is hectic. Sometimes starting in the morning till evening 7:00 but breaks are also given.
Placements in Vit are good. Even placements in every college depends on what you did or how much you worked hard and learned things . Here in VIT students learn a lot there is competitive environment. All the students who have worked will surely get very well placed in good companies.
Though the college fees is expensive. But as a private university if we compare to other private colleges it's the same. Fees is high but the college is very good among all the private universities and several government colleges also.
Campus life is a little hectic. The classes have a hectic schedule. There are several restrictions in the colleges like we have in schools but though if you got your friends nothing and no one can stop you from enjoying campus life
VIT Vellore has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities . Spacious classrooms and labs with smart board and 24 X 7 free WiFi . Living space is clean and food is prepared with all the necessary cleanliness instruction .
Bachelor in technology in Computer science and engineering . The quality of teaching of extremely good. The curriculum is updated from time to time including all the recent development in all the fields therefore malking us job - ready .
Quality of placements is good . Many students get placement in super dream and dream companies. The highest package goes up to 39 - 40 lakhs which is pretty good . The placement process is not that easy . But Vit keeps training programs to help students .
Avg cost per year is around 2-4 l p.a.yes it is definitely worth the money.
The campus life is filled with fun activities.Campus is absolutely safe and no outsiders are allowed in the campus. The management is always ready for emergency situations.
The college is well equipped with all the necessary and latest technologies. The campus is quite big in size with more than 4 educational buildings, more than 15 boys hostels and 5 girls hostels. The classrooms are equipped with smart boards and ACs. Moreover the sports facilities are quite advanced and worthwhile.
The teachers are well informed as most of them are PhD scholars, hence have better experience at teaching. Moreover they provide best solutions to real word problems and help in making us a perfect candidate for this competive world.
Placements are remarkable. As the college claims it to be 100% and since being a final year student I can say that yes this is the truth. All big shots like Microsoft, Apple, Cisco, Bank of America come etc. come for placements. The VIT Alumni base is quite strong because of which companies tend to pick smart students in numbers.
Although the college fees is on the higher end but the quality of education, the experience, the placements compensate for it quite well.
The campus life is quite good. As we have students from across the globe, we have intense diversity and culture.
Clubs and chapters here make it more lively for one tk survive away from home.
Hello Student,
First of all YOU are not cooked; considering your JEE Main percentile, you have a good foundation and might not need to study 4-5 hours if you pay attention in class and ask and clear your doubts. In the first year, though. There will be continuous assessments, lab
