Good infrastructure. Good place and very calm area. Good and big library. Very quite place to concentrate and very nice scenarios. Gyms are perfect and good in condition. Canteen food is good. Cleanliness manintained.
Job oriented course. Good syllabus and interesting syllabi updated quite a while and subjects are always up to date to cope up with current technology. Also preparing for job is very easy. Good college.
Placements are good. 5 LPA is average. 95% placements are guaranteed. Mostly we study career oriented course and get hands on experience. College is always supportive and very motivative. It helps us.
Good laboratory and very good staffs. They help us not only to improve in subjects but also in life. They are very kind. And Subjects are worth the money. And teaching is good. Tought topics but interesting.
Very good campus. We do lots of stuff together. Functions, Symposiums and a lot. Students are good and also teachers. Placed in very safe area and also good at handling emergency situation. Good to study.
Overall Good College
The college infrastructure is really good.Environment of campus is clean.Mess food is good and hygienic.Hostels are also clean.Every classroom has smartboards and biometric attendance. Both AC and NON AC rooms are available.
Good in academics. Faculties are good and most of them teaches well. You will get digital assignments , projects and quiz for most of the subjects. You can set your own timetable according to your convenience.
A large number of companies visit our college . Basically it depends on your potential.Highest on-campus package is around 40 lakh . But number of students is very high in every branch especially in CS .
Fee is too much.
AMAZING , the only word i can say.
The college has one of the exceptional infrastructures with immense buildings where anyone can get lost at the very first attempt. The classrooms are spacious and airy with smart boards almost in every class. Wifi is available in academic as well as hostel blocks. The library here is the best place to witness peace as well as advanced systems. There are many sport facilities and gyms too. The living spaces are really clean and the food hygiene is always taken care of.
I am currently pursuing Electrical and Electronics engineering because I see an increasing exponent graph in this career.I feel the practical approach in this field is quite helpful and I think that the curriculum is updated.
The quality of placements here is average but certainly more than other private institutes. The dream and the super dream packages ensure greater placements than usual. A higher number of campus placements are recorded than usual, every year.
The fee structure here is obviously hyped but the services provided are advanced too. The fee structure depends on the rank that you acquire in the VITEEE examination. The services returned for high fee structure can be improved too.
My campus life so far has been great. The faculties are friendly enough to approach. The students are competing. The clubs and chapters give the opportunity to every student to showcase and polish their talents.
Overall, the college offers a great environment to learn and grow together.
My colg has marcellous infrastructure with well equipped laboratories for every department. It is a ecofriendly atmosphere with less pollution. Food provided in hostels are classy and the wifi facilities are all over the library and hostels
VIT has a good academic part like highly infrastructured libraries with e-library facilities and there are highly qualified professors (phD holder) VIT has FFCS method of creating timetable it makes us cosy to select our own teachers
Placements are good for CS ,ECE ,IT,and EEEwith maximum annual package of 40 lkhs and the companies recruiting are less for other departments as well as the package is also less for other departments .
Academic fee depends upon the category you are during the counseling..
Campus life is at it's best.. Good campus with confined atmosphere very protective. Students can join mpre clubs and chapters and teams
I like the FFCS which makes us select the subject and professors pn our own
Infrastructure is pretty good. It has lush green surrounding. All labs are air conditioned and are also equipped with latest technologies. There is wifi in every hostel and academic building but they don't work in academic building because they have jammer there.
Academics related college is average but around 40% of the professors have masters degree from well known colleges from India. Most of the study is done by digitally. Curriculum is not upto date but some faculties are very good in there subjects.
For Computer Science Engineering students there has been 100% placements from past few years and IT students also has very good placement report but apart from these two field other field has not so good placements.
Cost per year is very high because of the infrastructure but it doesn't seem much that they are utilising it somewhere useful.
Campus life is good in when its evening but its very chaotic everywhere and students can engage themselves into various activities or games and also every day there is are shows organised by the clubs. College is situated in a small town where you don't have access to ola or uber. You have to take autos to go anywhere else and they charge way too high
It has all the equipement required for a university. We even have a 15000 sqft ca gym for buys hostel. There's about 5 to 6 academic buildings and 3 auditoriums. The campus strength is like 30k sat all times the place will be crowded.
The professors are good . They teach the subject really well and the lab sessions are just amazing we get a hands-on session with the current industry using applications and are prepared for future . but this is 1 plate I feel the bit could improve.
This would be one place where VIT just shines , the university has a track record of 100% placements for last 7 years now I guess. The students placed each year are more than 5k and industry leading companies like Microsoft and DE Shaw come for recruitment.
I feel VIT is a bit overpriced for the fact its in a village. besides that everything is fine. The security of campus is something I appreciate thou there are like fingerprint sensors on all gates which allow only the university students to enter and keep the campus safe.
Campus life is the best I would say in VIT, there's like students from very different backgrounds ,i.e., all over India. So you to get to meet a lot of people and learn something about different cultures. The hostel in time is 9 for boys So after 9 its just you and your squad doing tp in you hostel room. From making kettle Maggi to iron sandwich you'll learn everything.
It has got state-of-the-art facilities which include all the necessary infrastructure which is required in an engineering college. There is a 3 floored library which consists of books ranging from all kinds of domains. All the classrooms have got smart boards and one can find wifi in most of the academic blocks. Hostels are well maintained and there are AC blocks as well as NON AC blocks and one can choose according to his/her need and academic performance. Various types of mess are available.
I am currently pursuing computer science and had taken this course due to my keen interest in the field of web development and data science. Most of the staff have done their PhDs in their concerned departments and teaching style varies from person to person but in the end, one has to learn and grasp the topics on their own through various resources present on the internet. I feel the curriculum is up to date as they cover all the ongoing trends through the electives.
Placements are considered to be pretty good. The average salary can easily be placed around 5 to 6 lakh per annum. All kinds of companies come for the placements and the highest package was given by Microsoft which was around 41 lakh per annum. The placement procedure is handled by the PAT department and can be considered as a smooth sail to an extent. One has to inform the office about his/her post-graduation plans and the office will allow you to sit for the placements accordingly.
It has quite big campus with provided library, gym centers, sport centers.Living space is clean and spacious.Labaratories are provided by good equipment. You can actually enjoy there.Even the strength is high.
I am pursuing cse 1st yr.We get lot of projects to do and each project is given some marks.Professors are very friendly and they will clarify your doubts any time.Feel free to ask.Cirriculum is well updated in the college site.
When we talk about the placements, the ones who are in top obviously have good opputunities. All we need is to maintain good scores in the exams they contucts either internals or mid sem or finals. Each mark is valuable to increase your gpa.
Not totally but yes.
You can enjoy a lot
The college infrastructure is very good. We have got all the necessary infrastructure. We have labs for research purposes as well as for students. We have labs for practical exposure in field of chemistry, physics , computer science etc. Also the library is has amount of resources. The living area including the hostels are clean.
I am currently pursuing Computer Science at VIT,Vellore. In my opinion the quality of teaching is good. Most of the professors are knowledgable and would assist you without any hesitation when asked. The curriculum is updated to ensure we are in touch with the pace of technology.
The placements at VIT Vellore are good. If you work hard for the four years you can surely crack a good company. The highest package that was offered last year was 39lac CTC by Microsoft. The placement cell at VIT ensures that everyone gets placed.
VIT has got a very good exposure. There is a category system on the basis of your VITEEE ranks. The higher the category the higher you pay the fees. But overall the atmosphere and the exposure is good.
Campus life is the best life at VIT. Our cultural and technical fests 'Riviera' and 'Gravitas' are worth to visit. There are more than hundred clubs at VIT to make sure you discover your area of interest or passion. The teachers and staff are good.
I would mention that the college is little more vigilant towards girl students to ensure their safety. VIT has got a huge crowd especially from the Computer Science stream. But overall the college gives you lots of opportunities.
The VIT campus in Vellore is the one which is one of the obvious targets of engineering aspirants nowadays. No wonder about why this is so. The infrastructure's awesome and all facilities, equipment are provided, as per students' needs. The classrooms are spacious, with the latest smart-board features. Laboratories do have instruments but some of them need prompt replacement and are error-prone. The library and sports centres are one of the best and the living spaces are neat with hygienic food.
I'm pursuing my Bachelors in Electronics & Communications Engineering here. I believe that as far as education and learning are concerned, it's totally up to the student. He/She needs to be creative and attentive enough to grab opportunities, which are in plenty, here. The overall quality of teaching is good, faculties are experienced, though some do have a problem in speaking English. The curriculum is updated and includes all recent developments in the field. Becoming job-ready demands effort.
VIT promises 100% placements. This is one of its trait which brings down students in large numbers, every year, here because everyone needs good placements. Take my word on this, it ENTIRELY depends on you what you'll get at the end of four years. Your CGPA matters, your Skillset matters and your soft skills matter. If you're too smart NOT to pay any heed on all these and think these things don't matter, then I'm sorry you're coming to a wrong place, after all.
The course cost here entirely depends on the category in which you were admitted to the college. Students with lower category (1st & 2nd) pay much lesser than the one admitted with higher category (4th & 5th). I feel that I'm getting money's worth as I'm making it worth staying here, grabbing opportunities, learning a new skillset in leisure periods. You are the one who can make it worth staying here. A college helps you with a guide but you choose your path towards success.
Campus life is interesting. There are movies organized on the weekends when exams are over. The college campus is big and scenic view is in plenty. It is very safe for female students unless they don't care about their safety. The campus in-timings may irritate and annoy a lot of students (as it does here), but take my word, this is essential and it's for your good. There are all sorts of students here, you need to judge and mingle with people. The support staff is quite cooperating here.
