Our college has a great infrastructure including excellent library facility, smart classrooms, auditoriums. And coming to our hostels, they are well maintained by hostel staff and a good WiFi. We have many food parks in which we can choose among them. And above all these, we have excellent transport facility inside college through busses.
I am currently pursuing Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering. Coming to the curriculum, it is very well maintained by the Head of the departments and Deans of every department. We have a topic on recent trends in a particular subject in that field of recent development.
The quality of placement was outstanding. They were very well maintained by Placement and Training(PAT) office in our college. Near around 600 companies visit our college for placements. Average salary offered was around 5-6 lakhs per annum. And coming to the highest, it was 39 lakhs per annum which was offered to CSE students. Our college PAT office was very supportive in informing all the details regarding placements.
It was worth for what we are paying. As we have excellent infrastructure and extraordinary facilities including hostels and food. And we have good placement facilities in our college in which almost 90-95% of students gets placed every year. So I will say that it's worth paying the course cost per year.
Our college was very good. We have both technical and cultural fests every year in which every student can participate. We have a very big outdoor stadium for playing sports. We have extraordinary facilities for sports, gymnasiums, indoor stadiums etc. We have a hospital facility in our college which can handle emergencies for students.
The overall college infrastructure is good. Almost every classroom is a smart classroom, with white boards. All laboratories have all essential features. The library facility is beyond average. Wi-fi is available all throughout the campus
B.tech in Electronics and communication. The quality of teaching is fine. The curriculum is well updated with recent developments in the field. The study is so far assured to make the candidate job-ready.
Average placement quality. Only outstanding students with good cgpa (9+) have a good placement package. Middling students get placed under medium tier companies. Other than that, placement also depends upon interview prospect
Yes,it has a good infrastructure and had all the necessary facilities and equipment. classroom is of two kinds, theory class and lab class. Theory class is a normal class of a strength of 70 students and had projectors as a presentation class. Lab has all the equipment for each subject in courses. Library contains all the books you can get to learn a subject. There is an outdoor ground for cricket and football, two basket ball courts and an indoor badminton court. They are all very used, maintained
I'm studying electronics and communication Engineering as it was good to improve your hardware skills in embedded systems, microprocessor, microcontroller. Yes teaching was good in VIT. Yes curriculum is updated and has all the recent developments.
Placements was okay. Heavy competition. Most of the companies comes to hire for CS Or IT candidate s. 80 Percent is placed. Highest package is 49 lpa . Average salary is around 4 lpa. Most of the time placement process is irritating and takes a lot of time to announce if you got to another round of selection. I have waited for like more than 8 hours for the next round many times.
Course is of 2 lpa and hostel fee is seperate .
College is pretty good . Best thing is hostel, food and new friends. Worst thing is the distance between glasses and hostel. Everytime we have to go around for the subway. We can enter any club of like if we have potential. Teachers support students very much to learn . It's safe but I can't explain the pressure you can get.
My college has all the necessary infracstructure, facilities and equipment. Though in mechanical we need to do it in batches of minimum 5. The classrooms are well maintained with good condition seats, lights, fans, white board and smart board. The library is really good with a huge collection of books. All spaces are clean and the food is hygenic.
VIT has good academic results because of its peer group. The teachers help induce motivation and competitiveness within the students themselves with a smartly thought of system by the management. Though our curriculum is the same as any college the students are made aware of their requirements through other means. Yes, I believe VIT does its best to make us job ready.
VIT puts a lot of effort on placement training and gets the best companies for the placement drive. I'm still in my second year and don't know much about the actual process of it. But every senior I know has been placed. I think the average salary offered would be 50k per month.
My course costs 1.9 lakhs for the tuition fee each eat and the hostel and mess costs a lakh more (depending on your preferences). If you get in through the first category then its worth it if you are mechanical, chemical, civil or biotech. for other branches you can go till 3rd category. For other categories you can go till category 3.
The best feature would be the food. They have some really amazing food joints inside the campus that are cheap, healthy and taste amazing. There are so many clubs and chapters that are there to help you develop to skills and hone your interests. the diversity of students is amazing and they are all civilized and mature and promote a healthy environment. The staff are average. some are really bad and some are really good. VIT is in a pretty safe location. The healthcare is BAD. but there is CMC.
In general, you'll meet a lot of different people in VIT and get to know all their different views and goals. It's an eye-opener. You learn to define yourself and learn how different people live and think. It helps with personal development and lets one become more independent. You'll learn what is important in life and it is not just good scores.
The college infrastructure is really good and the campus is huge. All the buildings are well designed and it is a green campus. The labs and classrooms are equipped with latest technologies. The roads and the sidewalks are clean and well maintained. The campus has cafes and canteens in every block and/or building.
I am studying electronics and communication engineering in VIT and I am very content with the quality of teaching and the entire academic structures as a whole. The syllabus, exam patterns, etc are revised every year in order to keep up with the latest developments.
The placements are pretty good. A large number of companies come to the campus every year for placement. The packages offered are also very good with the highest going to 40 lakhs. Even the placement ratio is good.
The fee structure is divided in categories. Depending upon the rank one scores in the VITEEE entrance exam, the college fee can vary from 2 lakh per year to about 5 lakhs per year. The hostel and mess fees though are uniform and well justified.
The campus is always very lively and energetic, also owing to the population, but in general to the activities and events taking place on the campus throughout the year. There are over 100+ clubs and chapter on campus and students are always more than happy to be a part of them. The college also hosts a technical fest and a cultural fest every year which adds up to the energetic campus life. Apart from cultural activities, the people on campus, i.e., the staff, students and teacher are all nice.
Infrastructure wise VIT vellore is very good and accessible. Labs are numerous with every necessary licensed softwares. Classrooms are smart but non a/c though but no problem you can adjust. Labs are A/c. Library is a state of the art block with enormous books to read and digital books.
Im in ECE department and the quality of teaching is just enough to understand concept but not in-depth like many IIT's. But if you are a good hardworking student you wont be at any trouble at all. Online classes are the best mode of knowledge in engineering.
VIT holds records of placements as it says but research more on that topic becuz u wanna settle for a good package rather a low income package. So i think VIT students are less knowledgeable than IIT's and NIT students so its hard to talk about placements. Average salary would be around 5 lac per annum
Fees is a bit higher relatively
VIT is best known for campus life
VIT is better than most of other NIT's and IIT
The infrastructure of vit vellore is famous for obvious reasons. It’s spread in acres of land with best academic buildings. It is aweosme to roam around here in the campus. You can have a nice life here.
The teachers are good. They don’t do partiality. Teaching quality is nice as they make us understand everything and also they help us whenever we have any doubt. They also upload required material to help the students.
Placement ratio of Vit vellore is outstanding. People here get placed in good companies and mostly famous companies come here for placement training. The average package value is also good and can be considered.
The fees are according to Categories and there’s absolutely no Management quota or reservation seats.
Awesome.
all labs,Sports facilities available.labs are fully ac ,libraries are open till 12:00 at night , library is very huge with lakhs of books ,decent wifi throughout the campus , have good building infrastructure but dont have ac classes
hey,I am studying B.tech It the curriculum is updated with recent tech; teacher guide us well and have proper knowledge ; student are also of good quality; Phd teachers , online books available; digital assignment
large crowd but decent placement Average placement for batch 2019 was 7,2 lakh , more than 500 company visit ; if u are talented you can crack a good offer ; most of the student from cs It get placed easily,
better than any private college
great culture technical fest held every year
better than few nits and any other private college
Yes, the college offers all the necessary infrastructure including a vast campus, different buildings for different schools of engineering, massive auditoriums, smart classroms, well equipped labs, and cafeterias and sports ground to enjoy and hang out. The college provides a good speed wifi for all students and all classes are well equipped as well. The hostels are nice as well. So to sum it all up, college provides a good infrastructure and environment.
The academics of the college are not up to the mark you would expect it to be being an international standard institute. It is just satisfactory in terms of professors giving attention to the students and providing just a normal education. Some teachers are exceptional as they know well how to provide education to the next generation of engineers but most are just there trying to cope up with their jobs and not particularly interested in helping students to develop interest in their subjects.
The college provides a cent percent placement as they are really serious about maintaining that tag to attract admissions . The institute provides a chance for students to get placed in their dream companies if they really are capable for it. Otherwise the mass placement works. The thing is that the college does its best in providing all the companies for students to select from based on their talent but they lack a little behind in providing a quality education as they focus on number of studen
I pay about 3-4 lakhs per annum.
Campus life is really enjoyable if you spend it right with your friends and start planning for your career at least from third year of your engineering.
I felt that the student can find it a little difficult for starting time as it's very crowded campus.
Infrastructure of the college is good. Library is well maintained and cafés are also good with perfect location. Classrooms are good but are without ACs which makes it uncomfortable during hot days. Some hostels are very good.
Teachers are good. They will always attend you of you want to take some extra time for queries. As a mechanical student we need good laboratories knowledge but we need to get it on our own. Help from lab assistant is quite less.
Placements for CS and IT students are good. But, since number of students in VIT is large, ratio of students getting placed is less. So all g with grades you should have good practical knowledge when getting placed as the competition is high.
Although cost of each course is fine, but they never leave a chance to make you re-register for the course ,fir which you again need to pay. This is one of the worst thing I don't like in the college.
Campus life is good. You will get all the facilities, from gym to outdoor playground, classrooms to open stage , cafes to canteens and different places to do practicals. If someone really want to do something different, he will for sure get a chance to do it
