VIT Vellore Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

Slow network(wifi) library was good all books are available story books, technology, history etc all kinds of books were available. Maintenance is also good. Classrooms also good. Infrastructure of the college is very nice.

B. Tech mechanical engineering. Some of the faculty was bad but most the faculty teach well. All laboratories are there. Curriculum is updated. There some credits we have to complete that credits by passing all tge subjects.

I don't know about exact placements. But year to year placements are increasing. I think most of the students getting placements. I don't know about highest packages and lowest packages. Yes college was supportive.

According to categories fees will there. Total five categories are there. First category 3 lakhs second 3.45lakhs third 4 lakhs fourth 4.45lakhs amd fifth 5 lakhs.

Good. Many activities can students engage in. Location and area is safe. Yes it can handle emergencies.

Decent infrastructure with lots of amenities for all majors of students. Labs are all decent with good equipment and lab experiments are closely related to the course. Good ventilation facilities and WiFi in campus .

Most of the Professors are good and extremely knowledgeable in their respective technical fields. The sylllabusbamd curriculum is a bit outdated but necessary as the basics as very much important to go for the higher education.

There are IT services mass recruiters Dream Offers , Super Dream Offers which come from the respective core fields. Dream offers for mechanical engineering is between 3-6 lakhs and Super dream is usually 9-10 lakhs and above.

While mechanic engineering costs 1.98 lakhs (per year as of 2018) tution fee , almost all courses except law MBA and m tech integrated cost the same. The aforementioned courses might cost a little less (1.75 lakhs per year as of 2017) but Mtech integrated costs more but the exact rate is unknown.

The campus is pretty sprawled around 300 acres (Vellore) and 170 acres (Chennai) . There are many spots for eating and chatting including dominos Gazebo Lassi house Chai Galli . The loaction is quite far away from the main city but the area is developing a lot and is very safe .

Our college has necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Labs are equipped with necessary apparatus. Classes are equipped with projectors where students can easily understand the concepts. Living places are clean and hygienic. Food is tasty.

I am studying electronics and communication engineering. The quality of teaching is good. Our curriculum is updated and it includes all the recent developments in the field. What we study makes us ready to get the job.

The quality of placements is good. the highest package offered was 25 lakh per annum. It goes to software branches. The average salary offered was 15 lakh per annum. The placement process is easy and pleasant. Our college is very supportive.

Our course costs around 1 and half lakh per year. I feel that I'm getting my money's worth. There are many facilities in college it is upto is to utilise them.

Yes my college VIT has all necessary facilities and and necessary equipment related to studies all projectors are fixed to classrooms and our teaching is done by using projectors and out library contains a lot of books both of academic purpose and non academic purpose

Iam from IT department and IT department is the most leading subject in the present generation and this department has a lot of opportunities in placements and quality of teaching is very good and all the faculty are completed their PHD graduation

In our college the quality of placements is very high and 95 percentage of students were placed the highest pacakage in our college is about 50 lack and the average pacakage is about 5 lack per annum and the highest package got the student from CSE department

The college has all the necessary infrastructures, facilities and equipments with extra ones to encourage student to achieve more. The food and living spaces r clean and hygienic. The faculties use smart boards and all to teach but the WiFi over there r really bad as only some places have WiFi.

Integrated mtech in computer science engineering is my course and I think it's well and good course for a person who has a software developer ambition. But the curriculum is done in a way where students r allowed to choose the course and faculty that they like.

I'm not sure about placements since I have not undergone them. But the placements cell in vit is the best in India with leading brands coming every year for recruits including super dream offers dream offers.

My course costs around 2 lacks. But it depends on person to person. The more studious u r the lesser the expense of it will be. I'm a category 3 student so my fees r high compared to category 1 student.

The campus life is really good for the space it has for students to enjoy their evenings. Or sports courts they have for people interested to play. The place like foodys fills up every time and especially during the night for people to meet and chat and catch up with their friends.

Collage infrastructure is really good it provides all the equipment and it has all types of sports courts. classroms are good it provide with projector and wifi is not available in campus it is the drawback campus is very clean and it's very hygiene

I am studying btech information technology and most of the teachers are good they provide better slides I don't think my curriculum and what iam studying now is not updated it might be in our final year

Well I don't much about placements what I heard Is placements in vit is good and every year it brings almost 700 to 750 companies don't know about percentage of students,highest salary is around 50lakhs. yeah it is based on how much knowledge I have average salary is like 4 to 6 lakhs

Well my tuition fee is like 2lakhs I think it is very high on tuition fee I don't feel it really worth it because teachers are good but not really good and classroms are ok but it doesn't provide any air conditioners .

Campus life is Danm good and its really cool. In campus there Is to much of greenery and it provides all types of sports and courts buildings are also good

That is main thing about VIT colleges , it's known for infrastructure. We have a high speed wifi , full Centralized library, and all the new tech items . We have very good hygiene maintained here at campus

Academics are good, but there are 3 exams in a semester which is not seen in other colleges who are having 2 exams. Rest are all fine and we can decide our courses and faculty of our desire. And 75% attendence is mandatory

Placements are good for all the departments , 6 lakhs per annum is avg package here.it can go up to 48 lakhs per annum. But branches like civil , mech ,EEE,also have a good package but not as compared to CS branches and EC branches

Yes , it's Paisa vasul feature. We will get all facility for the money we pay here.All faculty at VIT are PHd holders . But it depends upon the students , if they are using their time we'll by using all feature at VIT , then we will have a bright future

Campus life is awesome, there are multiple clubs at ViT to explore, and we have a 3 days extravaganza at the month of February called vibrance and Rivera at VIT Vellore. You can't find such fest at any colleges

It's not strict compared to other colleges, as a result there is no ragging, smoking and alcohol usage. Parents can be full confident for their childrens safety . And there are lots of restrictions between girls and boys too

Yes vit has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. We have air conditioners in classes and labs . We have a seperate block for library . We have one indoor stadium and one out door stadium.

I am studying ece in this vit . I am studying this to become chip designer in hardware .industry.yes our curriculum is well updated and includes all recent developments in all the fields yes what I study makes me job ready .

The quality of placements in my vit is best and excellent. 100 percent of students were placing In our college. The highest salary is 32 lakhs per annum. And it's for cse students. Avergse package is 6 lakhs per annum

collage infrastructure is very good, proper discipline is also maintained inside the campus. cleanliness is also a very good thing to be noted. The classrooms are big. And hostel rooms are also big as compared to other colleges.

Teaching quality is also good, exams and assignment are very frequent, here every assignment, quiz and all the exams are properly divided, also grades are provided based upon the class average, but here you have to select your teacher

almost 95% of students get placement every year. 42lac/annum is the highest placement the previous year. Here everyone gets a chance of higher studies in foreign universities. Placement in any of the company at last matters upon your effort, if you are better than others then you are getting a better job otherwise VIT is giving full opportunities to get into a better company

I marked it as average as most of the students get into this collage in the 5th category, ranking in VITEEE is not correct. And in 5th category a student has to give a huge amount of money (around 6 lacs every year).

Campus life is amazing, all the freshers are going to learn a lot about their new life where friend circle is now a new family.

Here every student gets a lot of opportunities to develop a new skill, and it doesn't matter whether you are in IIT or VIT. If you think that you just got selected in IIT, then there is still a very tough competition waiting for you ahead and unfortunately, if you didn't get your favorite subject then you just have to push yourself a lot for these whole 4 years. Instead of that, I would suggest you take the subject of interest no matter whichever collage you get.
