The infrastructure at VIT-AP is modern and still developing. Academic blocks are well-designed with smart classrooms, projectors, Wi-Fi connectivity and decent seating. Computer labs are equipped with updated systems, though availability can be an issue during peak hours. The central library is spacious, digital-friendly and useful for both academic and self-learning purposes. Hostels are clean but feel congested at times, and maintenance can be inconsistent. Sports facilities exist but are limited compared to older campuses. Overall, infrastructure is good but still evolving.
I am pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, and the academic structure is well-planned with a focus on both theory and application. Most faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive, especially in core subjects like programming, data structures and mathematics. The curriculum is regularly updated and includes modern topics such as AI, ML and cloud computing. Continuous assessments, assignments and projects help in concept clarity. However, teaching quality varies across faculty, and self-learning plays an important role in excelling academically.
Placements at VIT-AP are steadily improving every year. The placement cell is active and provides regular updates, training sessions and mock interviews to prepare students. Many students get placed in IT, software development and service-based companies. The average package is reasonable for a growing campus, and a few students secure high-paying offers through strong skills and projects. While the campus is still building its placement reputation, opportunities are good for students who stay consistent and proactive in skill development.
Considering the facilities, brand value of VIT and exposure provided, the course offers decent value for money. The tuition fee is on the higher side, but students gain access to a structured curriculum, modern labs, online resources and industry-oriented learning. If a student actively participates in projects, hackathons, internships and self-learning, the return on investment becomes worthwhile. However, students who rely only on classroom teaching may feel the cost is slightly high.
Campus life at VIT-AP is calm and disciplined, with a growing number of clubs, chapters and technical events. Cultural fests, hackathons and workshops provide opportunities for interaction and skill development. Hostel life encourages bonding, though strict rules can sometimes feel limiting. Food quality is average and repetitive. Since the campus is located away from the city, entertainment options outside campus are limited. Overall, campus life is decent but can improve with more activities and freedom.
The campus has basic infrastructure with decent classrooms, libraries, and labs. WI-FI works intermittently and some equipment feels outdated. Hostels and common areas are mostly clean but maintenance can be inconsistent.
Teaching quality is average, some faculty are knowledgeable while others rely mostly on slides. Curriculum is fairly updated but could be more practical. Labs are okay, but more hands-on learning and projects would help students better.
Placements are average, some students get good opportunities while others struggle. The process is generally smooth but support from the placement cell varies. Salary packages are moderate not very high.
Fees are on the higher side, but the campus, facilities and basic academic resources are decent. The college offers an acceptable experience for the amount charged though there is room for improvement.
Campus life is calm with cultural and technical events. Students are generally friendly and the environment feels safe. Facilities are decent, though some amenities could be better organized and maintained.

Infrastructure is basically good and it has various facilities and also sports facility which help us in refreshing our mind and also the study curriculum is fine and it has various classrooms . Overall it's good.
Academic life at Vit ap University Amrawati is average as some faculties are really good but some are very egoistic but overall it's is good as it's has good facilities related to study materials and all.
Placement here is not as good but not that bad if we are working hard and and managing the academics part and skills then we have some options but we have to maintain both that is something difficult .
I came here in Category 2 and after coming here I got to know about the reality of placement here so after seeing that ROI as compared to feed is not that good so the college is average as compared value of money.
Campus life is good as here are many facilities but overall it's a very crowded campus just because it takes lot of admission and students come here because of the Vit brand name but overall campus life is average.
Yes, my college VIT-AP University has the required infrastructure and facilities for academics. The campus is well planned with classrooms, laboratories, library, hostels, and Wi-Fi. Labs are properly equipped, though some facilities are still developing. The living spaces in my college are generally clean and well maintained. Hostels and common areas are cleaned regularly, although maintenance can be slow at times. Overall, the living conditions are hygienic and manageable for students.
I am studying B.Tech as I am interested in technology and engineering. The quality of teaching is good, with supportive faculty. The curriculum is mostly updated and includes industry-relevant subjects, though more practical exposure would help.
The placement quality at VIT-AP is average. Around 60–70% of students get placed. The average salary offered is about 4–5 LPA. The placement process is manageable but depends a lot on individual skills and preparation.
My course costs around 3.5–4 lakhs per year under Category 2. I feel it is somewhat worth the money because of decent infrastructure and academics, but better placements and hostel facilities would improve value. Not all as we thought it would be could be much better
The campus is large and peaceful. The best part is the calm environment, while the worst is that some facilities are still developing. Teachers are knowledgeable and supportive, and staff are cooperative. The location is safe but slightly remote.
College is still under construction and is still developing, with major buildings like Mh7 and Lh4 still getting build. This shows college's continuous growth and development. Once it's completed it will be a better infrastructure.
The current academic structure of is well updated and upto date ... Faculty are quite knowledgeable and supportive and concepts are well explained via ppts .. Regular quizzes are conducted to test tue student knowledge.
The placements are average but is gradually increasing . Major IT Companies come and test the individuals aptitude, communication and technical skill in order to determine whether the individual fits the suitable position.
It depends on person to person , but yeah if you have computer Science branch with fee categories upton 2 or 3 it might be value for money as placements are not at a good growth so the ROI will be time less .
Campus life is active and engaging , with mix of academics, club and cultural activities. The college hosts events , fests and technical programs give students opportunity to grow and showcase their talent beyond academics.
It's an overall decent college but definitely not the first choice.
All the basic academic infrastructure is there....maybe in future as the intake increase...these infrastructure will be much crowded but as of now ,everything is pretty fine... talking about sports infrastructure...there are badminton courts, chess, gym, carrom, squash, basketball, cricket, football, volleyball but these all at peak time is very crowded.Only serious peoples can go there...on non-peak time like in morning,it's fine.
Teachers and faculty are well experienced and helpful(exceptions are always there in every uni). Mostly teachers expect discipline from you(North students suffers here). There are multiple talk sessions with foreign faculty going on all the times and student exchange program is there...as VIT have good reputation outside India as well... don't expect anything about startup culture n all. If you are hardworking and sincere you can get a good job tho l.
It's still a new campus, can't say much about placements at this moment ...this year seniors told that comparing to previous years placements has dropped but it maybe due to global down, otherwise placements are okayish...if you are hardworking you can crack it.
If you are upto cat2 or (max cat3) EAMCET and very hardwrking...you are good.
Events are there but very strict environment.
As VIT group is a national level institute it is maintaining infrastructure at national level . They are maintaining separate maintainence groups for each and every sector .Finally whai I say is they are maintaining good infrastructure
The pattern they are following for academics is very quite helpful for industrial work . They are providing the courses which are helpful for the students growth in skill set . They are giving academics upto industry level

Hi,
Yes, VIT AP CSE Core at Category 2 can be considered a decent option, especially if you do not have better options like top NITs, IIITs, or VIT Vellore/Chennai CSE. VIT AP has centralized placements with VIT campuses, and many students get good placement opportunities in CSE-related roles.
The
Hello Dear Student,
Yes, with a VITEEE rank of 65,185 , you have a good chance of getting Biotechnology at VIT AP .
However, admission will more likely be in higher fee categories such as:
rather than Category 1.
Hope it helps!
Hi Aayushi,
With a VITEEE AIR of 47,674, you are likely looking at Category 3-5 for ECE at Chennai/Vellore or potentially Category 1-2 for CSE at AP/Bhopal. For better placement opportunities in IT/Software,
prioritize CSE at VIT Chennai or CSE in Category 2/3 at VIT AP,
as placements are centralized,
