VIT AP University offers strong academics with an industry-oriented curriculum, experienced faculty, continuous assessments, research opportunities, flexible electives, and emphasis on practical, skill-based learning.
VIT AP University has a dedicated placement cell that provides training in aptitude, coding, and soft skills. Students get internship support, industry exposure, career guidance, and placement opportunities with reputed companies and startups.
VIT AP University offers good value for money with quality education, modern infrastructure, experienced faculty, skill-based learning, placement training, and industry exposure at a comparatively affordable fee structure.
VIT AP University offers vibrant campus life with cultural clubs, technical chapters, fests, sports, modern hostels, diverse student community, events, workshops, and a balanced environment for learning, fun, and personal growth.
The infrastructure at VIT-AP looks modern and continues to develop. The academic blocks are well-designed, with smart classrooms, good seating, projectors, and Wi-Fi, which makes learning comfortable. The computer labs have updated systems, though they can get crowded during busy hours. The library is spacious and a great place for studying or self-learning. Hostels are generally clean but can feel a bit congested, and maintenance could be better at times. Sports facilities are available but somewhat limited. Overall, the campus infrastructure is good but still improving.
My academic experience in B.Tech CSE has been largely positive. The curriculum is structured and covers both core fundamentals and newer technologies, which keeps things relevant. Many faculty members are helpful and knowledgeable, especially in technical subjects. Assessments, assignments, and projects help reinforce understanding. That said, teaching quality can vary, so self-learning and consistent practice are important. Overall, academics provide a solid foundation for students willing to put in the effort.
Placements are steadily getting better, which is reassuring. The placement cell actively shares updates and organizes training sessions to help students prepare. Many students secure opportunities in IT and software roles. While the campus is still building its placement reputation, students who focus on skills, projects, and preparation tend to perform well. The average packages are reasonable, with potential for higher offers through strong performance. Overall, placement opportunities are encouraging.
Although the fees are relatively high, the overall exposure, facilities, and academic structure make it feel worthwhile. Students have access to modern resources, learning opportunities, and industry-oriented subjects. The value really depends on how much one takes advantage of what’s available. Those who stay proactive with projects, internships, and skill-building benefit the most. Overall, it offers decent value for the investment.
Campus life is calm and fairly structured. There are clubs, events, and activities that help students stay engaged and build connections. Hostel life adds to the social experience, though strict rules can sometimes feel restrictive. Food quality is decent but repetitive. Since the campus is away from major city areas, outside entertainment options are limited. Overall, campus life is comfortable but could improve with more flexibility and activities.
Overall, my experience has been good and filled with learning opportunities. The university provides a supportive academic environment, but improvements in facilities, student amenities, and campus activities would make the experience even better. More practical exposure and industry interaction could further help students grow.
The infrastructure at VIT-AP is modern and still developing. Academic blocks are well-designed with smart classrooms, projectors, Wi-Fi connectivity and decent seating. Computer labs are equipped with updated systems, though availability can be an issue during peak hours. The central library is spacious, digital-friendly and useful for both academic and self-learning purposes. Hostels are clean but feel congested at times, and maintenance can be inconsistent. Sports facilities exist but are limited compared to older campuses. Overall, infrastructure is good but still evolving.
I am pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, and the academic structure is well-planned with a focus on both theory and application. Most faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive, especially in core subjects like programming, data structures and mathematics. The curriculum is regularly updated and includes modern topics such as AI, ML and cloud computing. Continuous assessments, assignments and projects help in concept clarity. However, teaching quality varies across faculty, and self-learning plays an important role in excelling academically.
Placements at VIT-AP are steadily improving every year. The placement cell is active and provides regular updates, training sessions and mock interviews to prepare students. Many students get placed in IT, software development and service-based companies. The average package is reasonable for a growing campus, and a few students secure high-paying offers through strong skills and projects. While the campus is still building its placement reputation, opportunities are good for students who stay consistent and proactive in skill development.
Considering the facilities, brand value of VIT and exposure provided, the course offers decent value for money. The tuition fee is on the higher side, but students gain access to a structured curriculum, modern labs, online resources and industry-oriented learning. If a student actively participates in projects, hackathons, internships and self-learning, the return on investment becomes worthwhile. However, students who rely only on classroom teaching may feel the cost is slightly high.

Food quality is average and repetitive. Since the campus is located away from the city, entertainment options outside campus are limited. The campus infrastructure feels modern and visually appealing, with well-designed academic blocks, smart classrooms and decent lab facilities. The library is a nice space for studying and has useful digital resources. However, since the campus is still developing, some facilities feel limited. Hostel rooms are manageable but can feel crowded, and maintenance is not always consistent. Sports and recreational areas are present but could be expanded. Overall, the infrastructure is good but still has room to grow.
Academically, the experience has been quite positive. The curriculum is structured and covers both fundamentals and newer technologies, which keeps things interesting. Many faculty members are approachable and genuinely try to help students understand concepts. That said, learning here also requires personal effort — self-study and practice play a big role. With assignments, projects and assessments, students stay engaged throughout the semester. Overall, academics provide a solid learning environment.

Vit AP has modern and well-planned infrastruture with smart classrooms, well-equipped labs, a spacious library, and good hostel facilties. The campus is clean and still developing, with continuous improvements in academic blocks, sports facilties, and student amenitie.
The academics at Vit Ap is quite average but nothing to be sad about, honestly it just works. The faculties are smart af tho Highly educated and really well mannered (most of them atleast) This is all I know
The placements stats are very average, You have to be 9+ cgpa holder in order to get a decent placement. It is quite interesting to observe tho cuz of all choas And neopat ranking system is quite confidendial as well
The value for money depends on the category system( From Category one to five): Cat-1 to Cat-5 the fee increases by a lot.. So be careful while choosing the category The value-for-money is there for Cat-1
The campus life depends on your participation, and also depends on the friend group. I got lucky honestly cuz my friends adore me I guess. If your friend group is quite introverted then ig you can't do anything
Overall it's okaish
College have good infrastructure But still in construction phase Many hostels are still in construction but and there are very less sports facilities and very crowded campus and will havethere be till many years .
Overall good but below average there are many professors who has very high ego but some are good but but mostly are not good still if we come to academics it is good but there are many burdons alls compared to other college .
Placement is not good if we have to make a good placement we have to maintain 9 cgap and plus then also it is not important that we will get a good placement still there is not a good placement for others
No the college is not value for money as it has not good placements and infrastructure and also the sports facilities is not that good and also the campus is very crowded so it is not value for money .
Campus life is lovely with cultural fest technical events club and sports activities student get chances to socialize learn teamwork and build networks over on environment is friendly and helps maintain a good balance.
Overhead the college provides a balanced experience with academic activities and exposure success largely depends on student initiative networking and skill development beyond regular course work.
Since it a new college, so the infrastructure is currently in developing phase. The front infrastructure of college is good and unique. Classrooms are spacious, labs are good, systems are also good. Yeah library system is also well equipped but one more large library should be designed. Hostel wifi is average and campus wifi is horrible. Yeah hostels are good, well maintained, food is average, depend how each hostel supervisor and mess manages it.
I'm currently studying computer science with artificial intelligence specialisation. Course materials need to be improved more. Teaching all depends on faculty. Overall the quality of teaching is average. Some faculties are literally dumb and senseless. They don't have common sense, professionalism to talk, and how to behave. Yeah some are really helpful and good. Depends on person to person
Placements here are very poor. Like very very few people get good placements and rest are mass recruited. They don't check skills, they focus on cgpa and 12th board percentage. Their PAT training is also very hectic but of very little use. Can't talk about them too much because they don't show the real data.
The student who has got college in category 1 or category 2 only has value for money. Yeah for locals its good and value for money. But for outsiders and those who coming in higher categories is literally a waste of money here.
The college is not college like. It's literally a jail. You can't do anything. You can't go out of the campus. Sometimes you can't go out even if your parents have permitted. Worst campus life. Security inter-fares every time for small and use less thing, Administration is the worst. Simply inhuman behaviour with students. Very cheap and narrow minded, zero civic sense and professionalism, inter-fares in student life and mentally torchers them lot. This is the ground reality of VIT. You can be fined anytime without any reason and u won't be notified. They are the real enemies in a student carrier,
Worst experience here. Not good at all. Very difficult to survive these immoral and inhumans here. Just waiting to complete my degree and walk out from here.

Hi,
Yes, VIT AP CSE Core at Category 2 can be considered a decent option, especially if you do not have better options like top NITs, IIITs, or VIT Vellore/Chennai CSE. VIT AP has centralized placements with VIT campuses, and many students get good placement opportunities in CSE-related roles.

Hello Dear Student,
Yes, with a VITEEE rank of 65,185 , you have a good chance of getting Biotechnology at VIT AP .
However, admission will more likely be in higher fee categories such as:
rather than Category 1.
Hope it helps!
Hi Aayushi,
With a VITEEE AIR of 47,674, you are likely looking at Category 3-5 for ECE at Chennai/Vellore or potentially Category 1-2 for CSE at AP/Bhopal. For better placement opportunities in IT/Software,
prioritize CSE at VIT Chennai or CSE in Category 2/3 at VIT AP,
as placements are centralized,
