i have studied in hostel rules pdf that only ordinary phones are allowed. But that's not probably possible in today's society

Hi,

There are many institutions in India which do not even allow to keep an ordinary mobile phone. Like in IMA, air force academy ,ota they do not allow and keeping a mobile phone can be a n issue.

maybe these institutions keep such a thing so that students may full attention on the course and curriculum as many students just pass their time over mobile phone.
