The Apex Institute of Technology & Management (AITM) is one of the prominent engineering colleges located in Pahala, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. AITM Pahala designs and molds excellent engineers via a totally merit-and-entrance exam-based AITM Pahala admission process. AITM offers four full-time B.Tech courses of four years in various engineering disciplines. 

AITM Pahala admission process starts from January-February every year, almost at the same time as the entrance exam's application dates. AITM Pahala admission process is primarily based on entrance examination scores, with the two major qualifying exams being the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) and the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE). These two exams the core of the AITM Pahala admission process into the B.Tech programmes.

The basic eligibility criteria for the B.Tech programme at AITM are 10+2 or its equivalent examination in which Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are the mandatory subjects.

AITM's application procedure for admission in B.Tech programmes is:

• Sit for JEE Main or OJEE: The candidate must first register and appear for either JEE Main or OJEE.
• Get a valid score: Get a valid score in the examination undertaken; the results are usually declared a few weeks post-examination.
• Attend counselling: A figure of merit counselling is held by the authorities of JEE Main or OJEE to which eligible candidates must attend following the announcement of results.
• Admission allotment: On the basis of his/her rank and choice, seats shall be allotted to the candidates in various rounds of counselling.
• Fee Submission: After successful verification of all documents, candidates have to pay the admission fee to confirm their seat.
• Final Admission: Candidate once the fee is paid and all formalities are completed is enrolled in the allotment of the B.Tech programme in AITM.

AITM admits into four B.Tech programmes, each with 60 seats awaiting occupation. The programmes are:

• B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering
• B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
