Barak Valley Engineering College, Karimganj Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Barak Valley Engineering College is located in Karimganj of Barak Valley Engineering College (BVEC). This institute aims to deliver quality technical education to the Barak Valley region of Assam.  Admission would be based on merit, depending on performance in the qualifications and entrance examinations at the level of the state. The focus in the admission process at the college was on providing availability for technical education within the region. Eligibility conditions for admission into BVEC generally speak of having reached the end of the 10+2 or equivalent, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects of study.

Application Process

1. Announcement of Admissions: Most likely, the college will announce the initiation of the admission process on the official website and by local press.

2. Application Form: The application forms have to be filled out by applicants, which will be made available either online on the college website or in person at the college admission office.

3. Document Submission: Submission of required documents along with an application form by the applicant should be:

Degree wise Admission Process

B.E.(Bachelor of Engineering): BVEC has four B.E. courses, each of which involves four years. Their admission process is similar for all the four branches. The intake capacity of the college as a whole is 60 students in each of the following programs:

1. B.E. Civil Engineering: The program for this course is associated with the design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure projects. Admission is based on merit in the qualifying exam and maybe a state-level entrance test.
2. B.E. Computer Science Engineering: This study focuses on the design and development of computer systems and software. Admission procedures are like other programs for B.E. offered by BVEC.
3. B.E. Electronics and Communication Engineering: It largely covers the study of today's electronic devices and communication systems. Admissions criteria are understood to be the same with other engineering branches at BVEC.
4. B.E. Mechanical Engineering: The course mainly talks about the design, manufacturing, and maintenance of all mechanical systems. The admission procedure is the same as that of other B.E. programs at the college.

All these programs require completion of the 10+2 schooling with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics being compulsory subjects. A total of 240 seats was made available in all four B.E. programs put together.
