The college does not have all the necessary facilities and equipment. The classrooms are small and crowded. The laboratories are outdated and poorly maintained, and the library is limited and lacks online resources.
The quality of teaching is shallow. The teachers are not qualified or experienced and do not explain the concepts well. The curriculum is outdated and does not include the recent developments in the field.
Only a few students got placed, and the salary package was three lakhs per annum. The average salary is 1.5 lakhs per annum. The placement process was difficult and unpleasant for me. The college is unsupportive.
The college infrastructure was quite good. The campus had its own canteen, fenced turf and sports arena which made sure of maximum interaction amongst peers. The only drawback being that the number of students that got admission into the college was way more than what the college could actually accomodate.
I completed my B.Com(H) from the college and on a personal note I wasn't satisfied with the teaching methodologies of various faculty members. With the minimum interactions we had with them it wasn't enough to actually understand their way of teaching.
The course didn't offer much scope for placements, but the college tried its best to get some of the talented students placed and one of the major drawbacks was that these placements were not mandated in the college, so students never took them seriously.
Given the infrastructure the Fee was around Rs.1.5 Lakhs, for a 3 year course in B.Com (H), which according to me was unjustifiable.
Since the attendance is was not mandatory and the lack of interactions with the faculty, there was hardly anything called as campus life. It was more about the occasional visits we had to pay, for getting some work done.
The overall experience was not the best, but it wasn't too bad either. There were and are still certain room for improvement within the faculty members and infrastructure.
IT IS BEYOND EXPECTATIONS.EACH AND EVERY CLASSROOMS HAVE SMART BOARDS,FREE WI-FI, AC. THE LIBRARY IS SAID TO BE THE BEST LIBRARY IN KOLKATA'S COLLEGE.THE CANTEEN SUPPLY ONLY VEGETARIAN FOOD.IT IS FAR BETTER THAN ANY OTHER TOP COLLEGE IN KOLKATA.
IT IS NOT SIMPLY A PLACE BUT ALSO A LEARNING INSTITUTION WITH FUN TEACHERS.ONE OF THE BEST COMMERCE COLLEGE IN KOLKATA,WHERE STUDIES ARE THEIR PRIORITIES ,THEY FOCUS ON MORE PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE THAN THEORETICAL.
NOT MUCH IDEA ABOUT THE PLACEMENTS BUT THEY PROVIDE WITH A GOOD INTERNSHIP IN ONE OF THE BEST COMPANIES WHICH HOLD A LOT OF VALUE.ABOUT 80% OF THE STUDENTS GET THE INTERNSHIP.THE BEST INTERNSHIP ROLE IS IN MARKETING AND HR.
ITS COSTS 50K PER YEAR.IT IS QUITE HIGH COMPARED TO THE OTHER COLLEGES IN KOLKATA .ALSO THERE ARE DIFFERENT FEES FOR DIFFERENT COURSE.FEE DEPENDS UPON THE EACH COURSE.
OUR CAMPUS IS THE HUGE PLACE.AND EVERY INTERIOR IS MADE IN THE BEST WAY AND BEAUTIFULLY DESIGNED
College has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities like nursing room and canteen. It also has sports room and Library which were very spacious and well maintained by the college staff. The food at canteen is very healthy
I was studying Bcom Hon at Besc college and the teaching quality was good but could be better by providing with all materials needed for learning. The subjects were a bit outdated and had to be updated.
The quality of placement was very poor because college doesn't initiate alot of placement drives and the companies coming for recruitment were not big company and mere start ups . The startups where not offering much vacancy to students.
college had the necessities but the campus wasn't that big. It had beautiful 6 th floor which felt like a good amount of investment of infrastructure but thats it . The classroom had broken benches and pricked chairs
Teachers were not putting much efforts into making students understand everything from scratch and things would have been much better if they took a little more effort to make the student understand the topic .
Placement drive was very less or negligence. The companies coming for placement required only 1 or 2 people out of like 400 people appearing for placement. Big companies were not invited for placement and only startups were invited.
Fees was a bit high for a bcom degree.
The college campus had a turf and thats it no space to sit if there was a wild crowd
Average college
The Bhawanipur education society college had the best in class college infrastructure. The campus was relatively small but the other facilities were top notch. All the class rooms had ac and smart projectors, the laboratories were well equipped, the library was the best I had ever seen, sports arena was all good. Talking about the canteen it is not less than a cafe. The ambience and food quality is great.
The academic part was also good in the college. We had great professor who helped us every time. The curriculum was also student friendly and didn't put much pressure. All the books are easily available in the library. The exams are also well conducted.
The placement team is well structured and provided all kind of placement assistance to the students. The placement process was also easy and pleasant. One can apply for placement later also once passing out from the college.
Average classrooms .Uses modern technologies like smart board with projectors .The classes are centralised AC. The only problem is the size of the clasroom and the limited number of seats the student as many and sometimes the seat falls short
The department maintains the 75% attendance rule very strictly so sometimes it gets tough to take part in the extra curricular activities ( especially cultural activities since they need a lot of rehearsals) .Also the dress code is maintained very strictly.
Not much idea about placements but usually they don't provide placements although they do provide some great internships in good companies which hold a lot of value . Around 80% of the students get internships . The top roles provided are in marketing ,HR AND FINANCE.
It was an amazing experience as I got the opportunity to explore not only academic activities but also extra Cocurrulum activities which really helped me in grooming myself. The infrastructure was just amazing.
Academics under the guidance of the best Dean would not require any words. Dean Mr. Devesh Shah Sir was the one with amazing sense of humor, person with good knowledge and of course the kindest of all heart.
Placement procedure went well and smooth no dirty politics being played everyone got the opportunity and the best placement. It was under the guidance of our Dean placement procedure went so well that every one of us got placed.
Not so much as hardly we went to college. Because most of us were doing other courses apart from bcom honours.
Amazing.. It was worth giving your money.
Dean, teachers, staffs and the canteen were just amazing and helped a lot every student in grooming themselves.
The infrastructure here is amazing , they are always investing and doing something or the other to better the infrastructure. They have the best library of Kolkata and best canteen which gives a cafe like feeling.
The academics is good , teachers are well qualified. But the quality of teaching can be improved. Students often end up being too confused, teachers are more concerned about the other stuffs rather than teaching
Though I didn't take placement from this college so I don't have much idea about it. But, I have friends who told me that they are happy with the placement and college was very helpful for this purpose.
I spend approximately 1.5-2 lakhs for 3 years. I think the price is worth the experience I had for those three years of my college life. I got the experience and confidence that I needed in life , also my college is better than most of the rest, according to me.
The campus life of Bhawanipur college is already well-known. They have great events and stuffs. You can enjoy a lot after your classes or in between free classes . The teachers and staffs are also very helpful
The college keeps on revamping the infrastructure and you can see something new every time you visit the college. The classrooms have all the latest technologies. The canteen and sports arena are the stars of the college.
The professors here are very experienced and are always up to date with the latest happenings. There is not a single professor who will not make the class interesting for you. The curriculum is very flexible.
Honestly, I did not opt for placements but my friends are placed in good companies are earning decently. The average salary offered was around 4L. The placement team is very friendly and will do their best to place you.
My course costed around 1.5L for 3 years but it was worth all the investment. I had a great time in college be it in classes or canteen or sports arena. This college will really develop your personality.

Hello,
The faculties and acadamics of the college is also good.If you have queries about anything they will solve very calmly. Also college give many opportunities to develop the skills of their students. But due to fee structure of the college many students not feel worthy for that. Evening batch is
