• To answer your first question ,the expected admission cut-off in CMAT for 2019 for Bimtech Institute is 75-80 .

• To answer your second question , Yes, for admission to PGDM (Insurance Business Management) , an applicant must have valid CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT score.

But on their official website the link to apply is still active so you can contact the BIMTECH helpline no. to confirm if applications are still being accepted & then you can use the link below to fill up the form directly.

Your profile is really good. Everything above 90% is a really good score to have. You also completed graduation just now. So that is brilliant to crack CAT in first attempt.

Now, colleges like BIMTECH and BIM Trichy are among the top 50 B-Schools in India but fall under the tier 2 colleges. A percentile above 80 percentile is definitely a good score to get a call from these colleges. So, I beleive you will get the call.

However, these colleges accept applications from CMAT, XAT etc. also. So the competition will be tough in GDPI.

Postgraduate Diploma in Managment(PGDM),BIMTECH requires a minimum 75% in CAT

PGDM in international business requires a minimum 65% in CAT. 

I think you should confirm the cut-off with the college once. You can apply for many other colleges but if you want admission in this particular college you can try again next year with a better score.

BIMTECH, Greater Noida is said to be the best colleges among the tier 2 Indian Colleges. And, to get admission in this college, they consider CAT/ BIMTECH ENTRANCE Exam. Plus, you are also called for GD and PI round. But, UPES is far better than BIMTECH as it has a legacy of its own, known as top good colleges. Admission process at BIMTECH, greater noida, Uttar pradesh is done on the basis of marks scored in CAT/ GMAT/ UGC-NET/ BIMTECH Entrance Exam and you are further called for personal interview which will finally decide the final result. And it doesn’t accept CMAT scores
